No, trading Max for Kane doesn't solve anything. We need to add another top 6 forward but not at the cost of one of our only legit top 6 forwards. We're getting no offense from top to bottom but to me our top 6 is really weak.

Galchenyuk wasn't -4 at center. He got maybe 4-5 shifts at center since he was in the locker room for half of the 1st period. After the 1st he was back on plekanec's wing. It'll take a serious injury to one of our 3 centers before he gets a legitmate shot at center. It's time for Travis Moen to sit and basically everyone see's it except for the coach. I'd like to see Sekac back in the lineup, I thought the whole watch the game from a different angle was just going to be for a game or so. I didn't expect him to be sat this long for Travis Moen.

Idk if i'm alone in this but I think weaver looks horrible this season. Seems to be on the ice for most of our goals against and half of those times laying on the ice.

I understand Plekanec is pretty hot right now but was suprised they went to him over Eller. Desharnais-Eller were pretty beast for us late last season in shootouts. Hopefully Emelin is fine I saw he wasn't out there for OT.

Arizona GM said that Ribeiro was bought out due to Behavioral issues not because of the cap. So definitly no thanks on him.

It also allowed us to bring back Weaver and allow at least one of our kids to play on their natural side as well. Also by the time those kids are officially ready for top 4 minutes maybe Gorges isn't worth that 2nd anymore.

Not sure but Bergevin is actually doing good cap management right now. He replaced Gorges with 2 bodies for just 700k more and added Malhotra for probably a bargain deal to play 4th C.

They confirmed 2.8 a season 5.6 total. Thats for Gilbert not sure on Weaver or Sekac.

We signed Tom Gilbert to replaces gorges.

Solid signing with Malhotra especially considering the term. Fills some of the leadership lost from Gionta, and is a big upgrade over White. As I expected Pouliot gets the biggest WTF deal of the day. I can't see anyone passing that contract.

I'm happy with the trade, we dump a player clearly in the coaches dog house for someone that fills one of our major offseason needs at RW. The pick was a nice throw in to make up for the fact Parenteau has an extra year on his deal.

Agree, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that McKenzie also said it would most likely be for a D-man not named phaneuf, gardiner, or Reilly.

Those were trades for his UFA rights.
