  1. I don't believe in 1st, 2nd or 3rd lines... it's all the same... different lines play well against different teams and so on. Remember this 5 on 5 and not the Powerplay... those lines are different. If Bonk is good enough with Hossa and Havlat, then he should be fine with Higgins and Ryder, or even Lats and Kovy.
  2. Higgins-Bonk-Ryder Lats-Koivu-Kovalev Sam-Johnson-Perez Begin-Plek-Murray If Bonk is good enough with Hossa and Havlat, then he should be fine with Higgins and Ryder, or even Lats and Kovy.
  3. Take away the first game, PP opportunites and short handed situations, How good has this line really been. We're one game over 500. Ryder and Higgins have come a long way, and I believe it's thier hard work, and confidence they gained with playing Saks, that's made them stars. These guys can play with anyone, they're that good.
  4. I live in Toronto.... and ordered RDS. You can't get RDS on it's own, it's part of the french package for $6.99 a month. Right now, Rogers is having a promotion and it's free for the next 3 months. All 82 games on TV. Enjoy!
  5. Same here.... missing the game because of a wedding... It's time for me to get a personal video recorder(PVR). Enjoy the game everyone
  6. I second that... Brian Leetch would be a great addition on and off the ice.
  7. 3 Players I'm looking forward to seeing in this years rookie camp is: 1) Mikhail Grabovski - Is this kid ready for the NHL 2) Carey Price - Is he the real deal... the next Cam Ward 3) Ryan O’Byrne - Can this guy be a top 4 defenceman in the NHL
  8. I rather have Bonk and Souray.... I thought Souray played his best game Saturday night agaist LA. He played phyisical, and simplified his defense game. Bonk has been playing with a nagging injury, i will wait until he his healthy to comment on his play. It's still early in the season and Montreal is playing better than most predicted. There really is no need to make trades for the sake of making a trade. Montreal is still rebuilding and should make trades that will help them today and in the future. Sykora, Salei, Ozolinsh, are all players who will help in the short term, that should be acquired at the trade deadline if the team is in contention.
  9. I would like to see BG put together a package for Patrick Marleau. It won't be easy, but Montreal needs more canadian boys who take pride on wearing the CH. Not to mention, Marleau is a big, gifted centre who can score. Marleau(4m) for Riberio (1.2m) , (Bullis) (1.1m), (Zednik)(1.7m) and a fourth round pick At this point, I would trade everyone, but Koivu, Kovalev, Ryder, Higgins, Perezhogin, Markov, Rivet, Komesarik, Theodore, Price, Latendresse. 11. How can we not have any defensemen in our system that we can call up and not risk losing. They should have kept Hainsey and sent down Striet. Live and learn, i guess.
  12. Hey JMMR, so far it looks pretty good, but make it your own.

  14. I rather keep the bag of pucks it would take to acquire him.
  15. We don't have a top six forward who is a power forward, I don't think we have any power forwards on the team. [Edited on 2005/10/21 by High&Inside]
  16. I would go for Havlat, he has a lot more upside than Niinnama, who in my opinion, is on the decline.
  17. Niinima makes 2.4 million.... Way too much, BG would be crazy to pick up that contract for an average player. I rather save the cap space and make a move in the new year. You never know, if Colorado tanks then maybe Rob Blake could be available. Plus I still think Owen Nolan could help this club.
  18. It's difficult to assess Bonk's performance considering he spends most of his ice time on the penalty kill, and plays against the opposition’s best line. I think he is doing a good job keeping the puck out of our own net, and the team is 5 and 2.
  19. Montreal lost that game because of special teams, and not Jose Theodore. Jose is fine.... he's the least of my worries.
  20. Saturdays game was on SRC in Toronto
  21. I think they should only retire Larry Robinson (19) and Patrick Roy (33). Robinson was the last to wear 19 and it has been 16 years, and Roy was the last to wear 33, and it has been 10 years.
  22. Since there is no all star game.... we could have our own version of the all madden team... We'll call it the All Bulis team. 12 skater, 6 defenceman, 2 goalies, and one coach.
  23. Very interesting article.... I wonder who the 3 will be. http://tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?ID=138636&hubName=nhl [Edited on 2005/10/3 by High&Inside]
