Leclair is old slow and pretty much useless in the new NHL Recchi is 35 years old or so, and is only scoring as much cause of Crosby Gonchar is set to make 5MM per season for the next few years.... and for this you want to give up on Kostitsyn? I don't think so!

or what about Markov even? I remember seeing Desjardins taking a penalty shot in a skills competition type event.....he had some moves, and we all know the russian's got some pretty solid hands...

Maybe playing on a line with Kovalev, another Russian who loves to win and isn't affraid to call people out, would help with him showing up every night? Depending on the price, I'd take a chance on him.

I know it's highly unlikely due to the fact that we're in a race with them for the playoff, but Spector is suggesting that Victor Kozloz of the Devils (6'5, right handed center), is potentially being shopped. We all know that Montreal needs a right handed centerman, as well as some size up the middle on one of our top lines. What would you give in return for Kozlov, and what do you think NJ would expect in return? MTL: Zednik, Ribs, 4th rd pk NJD: Kozlov too much? too little?

Ever since Carbo's been behind the bench, he's apparently been giving Komi advice after pretty much every shift (heard this from Murray Wilson on CJAD I believe), and last night he had 19minutes of ice time. Maybe he's the 20min a game guy that BG has been looking for? I've also noticed, that he's gotten a lot meaner in recent games...love seeing him cream the opponents!

They should show him video of his early games.....I was at his first ever game against NJ in the playoffs, the kid was unbelievable! Then perhaps some of his better games (boston in the playoffs, etc...) Remind him that he was once a great goalie, and there's no reason he can't do it again! Then when he starts playing well....ship him out!

Maybe they noticed that Ivanans and Downey weren't getting the job done, so they brought Zhogs in to shut down the big men on the other team....after all, Primeau still hasn't played since he ran into the Great Wall of Zhogin....
