https://www.habseyesontheprize.com/montreal-canadiens-assign-david-reinbacher-to-the-laval-rocket-prospect/ Lets hope he can help the Rocket make playoffs.

Time for a rookie debut.

As expected, Ylonen and Belzile are back on the roster; their stint with the Rocket was only for the duration of the NHL all-star break.

https://www.nhl.com/canadiens/news/rafael-harvey-pinard-recalled-from-laval-rocket/c-333211826 I think some here will be happy he is gonna get a game or 5. The 23yr old has 3 NHL games under his belt and 1g. Having good year in Laval. 64 19 32 51

Caufield now practising with the Canadians. Sweater number is 22, in case you were wondering!

I am happy for Alzner, well deserved

It's not Charles Hudon coming back up this time. Instead, the Habs have recalled Riley Barber from Laval. He has been on a nice run the last few weeks since returning from an injury and if they were pulling up a winger, this was the right choice.

Next up in the rotating cast of D.

With Mike Reilly and Brett Kulak struggling, the Habs are trying someone else on the back end as Gustav Olofsson has been recalled. Paul Byron has been transferred to IR to make room on the roster. With Christian Folin still on the active roster (he counts against the 23 while in Laval), Montreal now has nine defencemen on their roster. That's something you don't see every day...

https://www.habseyesontheprize.com/latest-news/2019/3/11/16694264/charlie-lindgren-laval-rocket-icecaps-helmet-price-niemi-roster-move Poor Niemi, is the end of his career here? Some were saying Habs should add a better back-up at the deadline, i didnt think would be enough of a difference to matter. BUT, after his last two outings how can they put in back in anymore? Lindgren 11-14-6 2,94, 0.884 this year

McNiven recalled to be backup for Price's suspended game tomorrow. No Lindgren? Have the Habs soured on him? I know it's only to be backup for one game, but you'd think the guy with the one way contract and NHL experience would be the one brought up.
-
I guess now that 5 PM has passed, teams can start announcing recalls again even though the roster freeze is still in effect until tomorrow.
-
Juulsen's had a rough stretch since coming back and the Habs have decided to send him to Laval. Mete's on his way back up to take his spot.
-
With the defence struggling, the Habs have recalled Brett Kulak from Laval. They were only at 22 skaters on the roster so no corresponding move needs to be made from Montreal's end. Laval has, in turn, recalled Ryan Culkin from Maine of the ECHL to take Kulak's spot.
-
With Scherbak and Juulsen going on IR, the Habs have recalled Michael Chaput from Laval. I know some will have wanted Evans but considering Chaput will be the 13th forward and not someone that will likely play much, it makes a lot more sense for him to be the one getting the nod. https://www.nhl.com/canadiens/news/canadiens-recall-michael-chaput/c-302137218

As Commandant suggested in the Laval GDT, Kenny Agostino has indeed been recalled from the Rocket. Paul Byron has been placed on IR to make room for him on the roster; Nikita Scherbak is with Laval but as he's on a conditioning stint, he's still on Montreal's active roster. If Joel Armia can't go tomorrow, it looks like Agostino will make his Canadiens debut. It won't be his NHL debut though as he's played in 22 games over parts of four seasons between Calgary, St. Louis, and Boston.

Another former 1st round pick with NHL pedigree gets a crack at Habs lineup. He does have 12pts in 14 AHL games with Rocket and was due to get a look.

Hopefully he does as well as Reilly has so far. https://www.nhl.com/canadiens/news/canadiens-recall-rinat-valiev/c-296554310

Price didn't practice today, but it was called a "therapy day." Given the organization's track record with offering up injury information on star players, I'm left wondering if the shot off the mask he took last night had a more serious affect than he originally assessed.

Well the 4th line got some sandpaper.
