zumpano21
I don't understand.... We finished the game with more goals than they did... I've read of this in a book somewhere.... Huet had 45 shots tonight... Ouch.

KoZed
Anyone still feels that Lats got preferential treatment when Carbo kept him at the beginning of the season? We're half-way in the season and Lats is our forward who generates the most offense and energy most of the games. Would'nt like to see what we would look like without him. lazy26
wow.. 44 saves for Huet.. that'll bring his save percentage back up!
sakiqc
Congrats to the Habs. Looked like a good old habs game. Huet with 44 saves on 45 shots, Habs PP 2/3 and PK 100% Let's win another one before the all star break!

Huet had 45 shots tonight... Ouch. Word, Huet was great. The Habs buried their chances while Atlanta didn't. I'll take the win but it still irks me that they gave up 45 shots...but I won't complain. lazy26
NHL.com lists the 3 stars (likely Atlanta's) as: 1 - Huet 2 - Souray 3 - Kovalchuk
BCHabnut
three stars... trois étoiles... 1 - huet 2 - latendresse 3 - johnson I thought the stars should have been Huet, Lats, Kovalev. I love that line, I hope it stays for a while. BTW, Who the hell is Sims and why isn't he a habs. He played great.

Huet had 45 shots tonight... Ouch. i know... i don't like that part of the final stats at all... it goes back to the fact that if huet plays a 'good' game, our team likely loses... if he plays a 'very good' game, they stand a chance... if he plays a 'super good' game, they win... he played a 'super good' game tonight = they won. i still don't like that... Athlétique.Canadien
I don't thank you enough. Shame on me. Awesome Spider-Man NL I've seen you around in other places too. Your work would make any forum member jealous. MARK MY WORDS: HABS WILL WIN! How could I have known? Yeah, I took a risk but it's an easy risk really. It's in our nature and history. Even back in 2000 when the CH approached a four, five or six game stinker, they all of a sudden would snap out of it. They did this stuff in the 70's too. It's the dog days right now. If they win against Buffalo we'll probably forget the losing streak because even during the dog days they tend to hang on. But in this 2007 version of dog days we are still hanging around in 5th place and make no mistake. Down the stretch the Mighty Habs will do something like this to the enemy: ...on a regualr basis. WHITE HOT! Well played road game tonight. Huet is the star. Atlanta seemed lazy at times. The team still has alot to work on but there are some big pluses for us. :hlogo: B... B... He has definitly earned his way. He is very strong on the puck, physical, good attitude etc. Exactly what the Habs need more of. I like Kost and Grabs but they have not yet shown to me that they are willing to pay the price physically. No doubt they will compliment Lats in the years to come. tokyohabs
Ah, que ca fait du bien! sounds like Latendresse must be on one of the top two lines and the PP. From what I've seen, he holds the puck beautifully and is really learning to use his body. 2 assists tonight.
sbhatt
Before I forget, I'd like to take my share of the credit for Huet's impressive performance tonight. Knowing the Habs needed a big game from Huet, I sold him in my hockey pool yesterday. As is always the case, the guy I sold had a BIG night the next day. You're welcome. Ron Fournier trying to stir it up about Markov - but just turned it into 'Carbo has guts to bench his best D.' Nice recovery.

tokyohabs
I called for Gui showing the way, but with two goals. I'll take the assists and the win. And I've seen the photos - they wore powder blue, and were pounded as I called for! Cataclaw with the sig of the year - read the fine print all. BCHabnut
I would expect to see Kovalev and Lat's goal production increase with this set up. Lats parks in front and tips while Kovy shoots every time he gets the puck. How many shots did Kovy get?
