V Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 with 4.2 seconds left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooooooooooooooooo.... :-^ take that Thorton.. (is he the dirtiest player in the game or what) Quote
Fanpuck33_ Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 Despite the 2-1 lead, it seemed like Boston was on a powerplay the entire period, they pretty much dominated the play. Let's come out and dominate some play ourselves, increase that lead! Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 Atleast we are winning.... The team is playing amazing! Theo on the other hand :nono: :ghg: Quote
Fanpuck33_ Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 Come on PMK, I don't feel the team played well at all, Boston kept it in our zone for long periods of time at least 3-4 different times. Theo made some good saves, he faced a lot of shots, although he did get lucky on the 2-on-1. Our first goal was lucky, and the other a rebound. Boston had 10 scoring chances to our 5, we were outplayed, Theo was better than Raycroft, only reason we are winning. Quote
jl.roberts Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 BUT... we are winning. That's what's most important. We get a late goal and I'm sure the play will be better in the 2nd. GO HABS! Quote
ViolentR Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 YEAH YEAH YEAH!!! RIBEIRO GETS HIS 2ND!!!:/) Quote
DJ_Laszlo Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Only 3-1, and almost 2 periods left. Bruins on the PP. A goal and they are back in the game. Go Habs Go! Quote
DJ_Laszlo Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 A stretcher for quintal....?? Edit: Never mind - he seems okay *sigh* [Edited on 2004/4/14 by DJ_Laszlo] Quote
TheAussiePosse Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 For all you who were complaining about Quintal needing to rest, well, you've got what you asked for. A hook by Hal Gill brought Quintal back first into the boards, and he's hurt bad. Komisarek will probably play next game. Hopefully we can hold on with 5 D - hopefully no OT *knock on wood* [Edited on 2004/4/14 by TheAussiePosse] Quote

Yes, Theo made some good saves but the goal boston scored was weak. But....The Habs are flying, I love it. :ghg: Quote
ViolentR Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 Alright! Quintal is back on the bench. We'll see him momentarily. Quote
DJ_Laszlo Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 Damnit. PMK - was this a weak goal as well? Quote
Fanpuck33_ Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 Second goal looked fairly soft, he should have had it. It went through two guys legs. We looked great the first 10 minutes of the 2nd, but then we again got dominated the last 10 minutes. We need to freaking clear the puck! Quintal is on the bench, but hasn't played since the inury. I like Komi, but I don't want him to play because Quintal is hurt. Quintal is a good leader and can play the body. Aussie, I'll try the chat, but it often doesn't work right. DJ_Laszlo Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 I predict a massive Bruins enforcement in the third period. We will have trouble shutting the B's out. Quote
Fanpuck33_ Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 Let's come out strong, get an insurance goal, and play solid D. Tried the chat, still not reliable. No big deal. [Edited on 4-14-04 by Fanpuck33] Quote
JLP Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 yup chat not reliable. Let's get that goal -- Koivu / Zed are due! (Nashville up 2-0 on Wings I just heard!) Quote
Fanpuck33_ Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 Geez, Zednik can not buy a goal. He's come so close 4-5 times tonight alone. Quote
simonus Posted April 14, 2004 Author Posted April 14, 2004 juneau really wants a point too! I think he might be forgetting his age a little.... Quote
JLP Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 Nail biting time again -- Christ it's always a one goal game with the Bruins!!!!!!! Quote
