jcc10
It will not be Price's "last chance." Despite fan over-reaction, he's still a good goalie as is. He's also still a very *young* goalie playing a position that matures later than any other. If we stopped comparing him to Roy and Brodeur et al, and started comparing him to contemporaries his age, I think we might be quite pleased. Such are the unrealistic expectations in Montreal. Every year he's learned a little more. The second half of last season was tough, but that doesn't negate his very strong first half, it just says he struggled for the second half! Part of maturing is finding consistency. He has, and has shown, all the tools to be an elite goaltender. Patience. (I know, I know, bad word in Montreal. It's almost as bad as saying Houle or Tremblay or *shudder* Koivu.) I disagree, He's had 6 NHL seasons.2 more years will be 8. That's plenty of time and patience. he hasn't won a playoff series since 2008, a #1 v #8 matchup. Jaro won 2 in the meantime. i'm hoping for the best but not expecting much,so if he remains average I won't be disappointed. if he reaches his potential,I'll be as happy as anyone
TurdBurglar
Not worried about Price. If he stays like this we have Fucale going to be ready in 5-6 years time. Until then we still have an above average goalie between the pipes.
