Habs30/31
Good trade imo..however Knuckles said that D.S.P ought to mean DROP SOME POUNDS haha. He does tire rather quickly, but I digress Nilan also commeted on how therrien should have had a one on one with DSP if he was concerned about his fitness level. Instead of telling the media he is "out of shape". I agree. It sounded like he just stopped short of calling him fat. HA!........... MT own a mirror? Lovett's Magnatones
Devante Smith-Pelly Regular Season: 20 games, 1 goal, 2 assists, 3 points, -2 Playoffs: 12 games, 1 goal, 2 assists, 3 points, -1 (team made Conference semi-finals) Jiri Sekac Regular Season: 19 games, 2 goals, 5 assists, 7 points, +2 Playoffs: 7 games, 0 goals, 0 assists, 0 points, even +/- (team made Conference finals) Ho-hum, eh? Couple of depth guys, nothing to see here. I watched Major League yesterday, and I couldn't help but think of Sekac when Willie Mays Hayes came on, another marginal player who was fast as the wind and always came up short. I don't see either of these guys being in the league in 2020.
DON
Really, I would guess both will be around and will be middle 6 guys. Based on gut-feeling, nothing else of course.
Habs30/31
Too early to write off either. There are 180 to 250 bottom six forwards playing every season. Some play for a slew of teams over a slew of seasons carving out a career.
