dlbalr
Hudon scores to open up the scoring for St. John's, Scherbak with the lone assist.
dlbalr
Mark MacMillan makes it 2-0, the one and only Yannick Veilleux gets the helper.
DON
And give up 2 goals in 3rd and lose 3-2 in OT. Outshot 7-0 in OT.
dlbalr
That can't happen if this team wants to make the playoffs. Utica is picking it up and may very well get a boost with Vancouver likely to sell a player or two at the deadline. It's time to start playing something resembling a full 60 minutes instead of showing up for a good few minutes here and there. Enough is enough. I would still like them to sneak in though, if for no other reason than to keep the prospects skating for another couple of weeks. Brampton looks safe to make it but there won't be anyone of consequence prospect-wise other than Fucale playing for them.
dlbalr
A couple of changes tonight, still no Carr as well (nor are there any suspicious omissions, this being their final game before the trade deadline):
DON
4minutes in and Lernout (2) scores 1-
DON
And now 1-1, Denis didn't have a chance or see shot they said, braindead turnover caused it.
dlbalr
3-2 IceCaps in the 3rd. Hudon and Matteau have the other goals.
dlbalr
St. John's blew the lead but scored two goals in 33 seconds with less than five minutes to go to eke out a 5-4 win. Hudon and Terry had the final two goals; both had three point nights. http://theahl.com/game-summary?game_id=1016705

And Nikita Avtsin Scherbak had beauty pass to Terry for tap-in winner and continues to contribute.
