dlbalr
A new season has arrived for Laval who will be hoping to get off to a strong start once again (as much as it seems like it was ages ago, they were the top team in the league early on last year) as they travel to Providence to take on the Bruins (0-1-0). Gustav Olofsson, acquired earlier in the week, is not with the team for this two-game road trip. Agostino - Chaput - Grenier Shinkaruk - McCarron - Froese Jevpalovs - Vejdemo - Belzile Audette - Evans - Alain Kulak - Lernout Moravcik - Sklenicka Plant - Lamarche Lindgren Lines are based on last game's +/- listings plus some guesses. Senyshyn - Forsbacka Karlsson - Kuhlman Hughes - Frederic - McNeill Cehlarik - Szwarz - Fitzgerald Blidh - Fyten - Pond Lauzon - Zboril Vaakanainen - Clifton Breen - Johansson McIntyre Puck drop is at 7:05 PM EST. 91.9 Sports has the coverage in French. This game can also be viewed for free on AHL TV.
alfredoh2009
I like those D pairings and also seeing McCarron back on the wing his improved skating should help him there

dlbalr
That second line is a lot better than the first one but okay...

dlbalr
The Bruins scored just 21 seconds into the 3rd to double their lead but Chaput has got that one back. 2-1 Providence, 14 minutes to go.

I don't know if it is what the doctor ordered... I guess he showed intensity and was able to keep up with the other skaters.

Oh well, also wish he could magically get quicker; but, just seems too late to the puck almost every time at NHL speed and when he does have puck he doesnt do enough with it. For sure can easily see him swapped for another 1st round -type bust anytime now.
alfredoh2009
Shinkaruk and Rychel haven't shown much more than McCarron right now I would be happy if he becomes a successful AHLer and the capstan in Laval for a few years
