dlbalr
As Commandant suggested in the Laval GDT, Kenny Agostino has indeed been recalled from the Rocket. Paul Byron has been placed on IR to make room for him on the roster; Nikita Scherbak is with Laval but as he's on a conditioning stint, he's still on Montreal's active roster. If Joel Armia can't go tomorrow, it looks like Agostino will make his Canadiens debut. It won't be his NHL debut though as he's played in 22 games over parts of four seasons between Calgary, St. Louis, and Boston.
DON
He has done very well in AHL, what has held him back, his skating? https://habsprospects.com/agostino.html
dlbalr
Pretty much. We saw it in the preseason - he has some offensive skill but he's a step slow. He reminds me a bit of Bud Holloway in that regard - a high-end AHL player but no more than a filler in the NHL.
Habopotamus
It's weird how guys can light up the ahl, yet are only fringe players in the nhl

Is bit different lining up vs a McDavid than a McCarron.

I would prefer Agostino on the 4th line with Shaw and Pecaj (once Armia is back) Edited November 8, 2018 by alfredoh2009 Added
