tomh009
1-0 Moose at the end of the first on a Cole Perfetti PPG. McNiven holding down the fort as the Rocket were badly outshot at 16-7. Belzile, Vejdemo, Mysak, Ylonen all missing from the lineup.

I might be wrong but I think they're down to only 12 healthy forwards at the moment.

That’s a big hit. I’m impressed that they are still managing to hang in there against the Moose. Oh yes, 1-1 after two on a Schueneman goal in the opening minute. Shots even at 7-7 in the second. dlbalr
They pulled it off - Pezzetta (his first of the year) got the go-ahead goal early in the 3rd and Blandisi sealed it with an empty-netter. McNiven had a big game with Laval outshot 36-21 as well. https://theahl.com/stats/game-summary/1022567
tomh009
I am impressed by this team. Missing five forwards -- and three of their top ones -- and they still score two goals on 20 shots (ignoring the EN here). And McNiven was strong with 35 saves. Technically the empty-netter didn't even go in - it was an awarded goal off a delayed penalty.
