Trizzak
The scene starts in a pitch black, featureless room. Suddenly a sliver of light pierces the darkness as a door creaks open. Dust dances about as a voice brings fresh air into the room for the first time in months... Bergevin: "Folin? ... Folin, are you there?" Folin: "...m-master? is the bad man here?" Bergevin: "It's okay. He's... busy... for now. It's time for you to go." Folin stumbles to his feet. Hope left his mind long ago. He doesn't stride to the door with thoughts of a new tomorrow, he now only does what he's told. The husk of a man leaves his prison, guided gently by his master before the jailer returns with another... Julien: "Here's your new place." Kulak: "Thanks, Coach." ~fin~ 1

On the one hand, the RD depth is really weak (it starts and ends with Josh Brook) so having another option down there in case of injuries is good. On the other hand, I wanted the open contract slot and I don't really want McEneny to come out of the lineup with Laval which will likely happen with Folin going there now. If only Juulsen ... but at this point I worry whether he will ever be able to play for the Habs. Are any of the left defencement capable of playing the right (wrong!) side? They have Ouellet playing over there right now and that's likely to set up him to be a potential recall if one of Weber, Petry, or Fleury got injured. McEneny was the other playing his off-side but he'll likely cede his spot to Folin.

If the Habs need to replace Folin's spot in the lineup of never playing ever, they could call up Alzner and move McEneny into his spot.
