Trizzak
Is Montreal likely to sign any college free agents? I haven't heard any hyped names compared to seasons past. But Habs have 2 free contract slots, and having burned 3 of 4 AHL callups already it makes sense to sign someone.
Lovett's Magnatones
I hope not. Let's get some more Junior overages like Fournier and Bokondji Imama.
Machine of Loving Grace
New Jersey and Vancouver signed guys. Vancouver signed a 6'8", 240lber
Lovett's Magnatones
New Jersey and Vancouver signed guys. Vancouver signed a 6'8", 240lber Jim Benning called him a freak. Between that guy and Andry Pedan, they have two of the toughest Russians since Gorbachev and Ivan Drago.
habs rule
Jim Benning called him a freak. Between that guy and Andry Pedan, they have two of the toughest Russians since Gorbachev and Ivan Drago. As I recall Ivan Drago got his ass kicked.
sbhatt
As I recall Ivan Drago got his ass kicked. He went 1-1 in that movie against world-class opponents; literally killed Creed, with ease....and took Rocky into the 15th round in a very close fight. dlbalr
I hope not. Let's get some more Junior overages like Fournier and Bokondji Imama. Imama never actually did sign with the Habs. He went back into the draft and was drafted by Tampa Bay. Why they wasted a pick on him, I'll never know. The Habs have actually had some success lately in the college free agent game as both Condon and Carr were added that way. They're free prospects and it's not like Montreal is loaded in their prospect pool. New Jersey and Vancouver signed guys. Vancouver signed a 6'8", 240lber Vancouver's was one of their own draft picks. Carolina got one of the better ones early in Poturalski. habs rule
He went 1-1 in that movie against world-class opponents; literally killed Creed, with ease....and took Rocky into the 15th round in a very close fight. And you know I always wondered how a guy 5 ft 10 weighing 185 lbs soaking wet with a hard on, could beat a guy 6 ft 6 and 245 lbs. That's hollywood. John B
There is an article on cbssports.com about some potential college free agents. www.cbssports.com/nhl/eye-on-hockey/25509103/north-dakota-duo-among-college-free-agents-to-watch-for-the-nhl. dlbalr
Apparently the Habs are one of several teams interested in college goalie Charlie Lindgren out of St. Cloud State. Despite having Fucale in the system now and McNiven coming after next season, there is a short-term need for goalie depth so it's not surprising that they're looking for one. If he were to sign with Montreal, he wouldn't be changing logos all that much...

dlbalr
The article is a few weeks old now but I just found it today, a different top-15 NCAA UFA list. Both of Montreal's pickups are on there (#14 I believe was at their development camp in July as well). http://www.sbncollegehockey.com/2016/3/9/11182480/top-nhl-free-agent-prospects-in-the-ncaa
DON
So Bergevin grabbed two of top ten NCAA free-agent prospects (#4-Lindgren & #8 Parisi), not bad eh. And he is not just sitting back doing nothing, that is for sure.
