Sadly Gally isn't really a playoff performer. 76-13-20-33 and a -13. When the whistles go away his size limits his ability to effectively be Gallagher. Still works his ass off though.

I'm curious to see how people view goalie development. Playing more games and facing more shots in the CHL may be a better option for many goalies.

This I where Im very torn on. Dcore construction. With Commandants earlier dcore assumption of... Guhle-Hutson Matheson-Carrier Xhejak/Struble splitting -Mailloux or Reinbacher We have Xhejak splitting time. I feel if we want him to develop he needs to play. My issue is... Struble is a physical beast too and honstly more likely to be a nhl player on a good team. Also he can develop more. I feel we should either move Mathesson as part of the 2C trade and have xhejak and Strubble rotate in or out of the top four... but we would likely not be better next year. Or we decide that Struble-Mailloux provide a ton of physicality and bet that Mailloux projects as a more likely NHL player. (2nd PP and puck moving)... then have Xhejak as a tantalizing part of a 2C trade. I feel our dcore prospects are at an awkward stage.

Also that toughness was.... in the form of a tremendous defensemen not just bottom six/pairing guys.

Oh for sure. I was just speaking to how bad a game Matheson has.

I felt Laine was not that awful. He serves a role and while he isn't physical he doesn't get pushed around. Matheson however I'd be almost tempted to bench for Xhekaj Christ Xhekaj would at worst still not fumble the puck as much as Matheson tht game! Evans was fantastic at times imo... maybe move him up? What other centers do we have right now for the 4th if we ran Newhook-Evan-Demidov? On defense would Struble-Guhle be that much worst on the pk?

Could Heinemen be a good fit instead of Laine for Demidov? Heinemen still has a shot and is better 5 on 5 no?

That's why I asked. I haven't seen him play much. I have heard people talk about how initially he was fast physical big (anderson) but it didn't keep up. Wondering if what didn't stick was the effort/trying to be a skill guy (not anderson) or figured out/one dimensonal (ie anderson).
