I think the team can do fine with Plek, if the right support guys can be found. Someone in the Malone, Hartnell, Smyth, Byfuglyn mold. It's a team game, and to be honest, the only time I was disapointed in Plek was against the flyers. In the first round he was quite good, and in the second round, he drew Crosby duty. His PK ability is amazing as well. Could you imagine having him as a 3rd centre? 5 mill for a third centre is insane, but don't forget that Plek pretty much single handedly got this team to the playoffs. He was the habs's best player this season. I think Uma Thurman would be a good goalie. Her eyes are on the side of her face.

I'm sort of hoping the Flyers have a strong run. It's like 04 and 06, knocked out by the champs. If the Flyers go down in 4 or 5, what does that say about this team?

Well, I'm an old school Habs fan who's used to this, but I gotta say I am pretty happy with the playoffs this year. I hope that there are some offseason changes. Let Plek walk and go after Marleau. Trade Kostys, sign Moore, Let MAB walk, Let Mara walk, buy out or trade Hammer.

It's quite obvious that the big guns on this team are Cammie and Gionta. We can't get rid of Gomez, so anyone else can go bye bye as far as I'm concerned. AK needs to be huge tonight. You know another great thing here is that Gainey can hold his head high. He can feel like he went out on top. This is the team he built and the coaches he hired. His team made history. Regardless of what happens after this, his team knocked the two most powerhouse teams with the most powerhouse players in the league. Congrats Bob.
