C-love, I am not sure what you are trying to say. That having high expections for the upcoming season is wrong. Or being dissapointed that the team you love is losing is wrong. I think the team has improved over the off season. (Or do you disagree with that as well?) With improvement comes optimism. We do have prospects in the organization that we should discuss and be excited about. Why? Because it is fun. We are on this page to discuss the Habs past present and the future. I do not see a difference between optimism and negativity. They are both unjustified before the start of the season. Which, I think, is your point? Bob did well this off season. Many players are relucant to come here. However, with every little bit of improvement, it is cause for talent to look to Montreal as an option. Go Habs Go!

Ribs doing well? I will have to see that for myself. However, if the guy could step up to his position, wouldn't that change the outcome of the Habs season. Not holding my breath but hoping to be proved wrong.

Soon there will be no numbers left to play with. Price wearing 106. I guess that is one of the drawbacks of playing with the most storied team ever.

If it was me, I would think that playing the Habs would be such a thrill that even such a loss would be a highlight. However, they would probaly disagree.

I find it funny that this web page spends so much time on Bonk. He is not going to shine this year. Expect him to play a limited, but important, defensive role. He will score less than 15 goals. He will not take on a leadership role. The problem that so many habs fans have with Bonk (aside from his outragous salary) is the high expectations. Every year he disapoints the fans expecting him to live up to his "potential". I like Bonk, but anything over 45 points will be gravy over his strenghts, the PK and defensive role he plays.

I was hoping someone would keep me posted on the rookie tourney. Thanks for stepping up. It is a great read that makes me more excited for Oct.

Bonk and Ribs as our go to guys? The thought makes me shudder. I think Plek may find the job a little overwhelming this year.

I am surprised that only markierung placed Spazza on their list. Might that be because he leaves a bad taste in the mouths of habs fans? I would place Spazza at the top of my list.
