sure, more teams could locate in Canada, but that will not happen under bettman. He still doesnt have his huge TV deal that he is aiming for, regardless of how great he says VS is... so yet again, we are stuck waiting for a the governors to come to their senses and get a new commissioner

as much as you want to blame bettman for this one, you cant, because the decision to remove rings was made in or before 1992(when it first occured), and bettman's reign as "supreme ruler" began in 1993. As to why not make a cup at the hhof with all the rings on it, well, probably because they all the cups to look the same as the others... it would get ridiculously large. And, no one would ever get to see the oversized cup anyways, because it would be the original one, because it cant be the one that is presented to the players, and the third cup has to be identical to the players cup...

for the first, and probably only time in my life (being a vancouverite), I get to brag about the great dump of snow we had about 2 weeks ago... We got about 1ft in the suburbs, and all the mountains were able to open about one month earlier than planned, and have great conditions... HAHA!

as long as you get RDS on digital cable or satellite(in vancity), you will be able to watch the habs...

had to add nhlpa to the list, which in my mind anyways, prevents the nhl from using that colour scheme

the only problem with the promotion/demotion idea is the possibility of the original 6 teams-especially the habs- not being able to compete for the Stanley Cup... that would be tragic! :hlogo:

the MTS Centre is only 15000 seats, that might be a stumbling block for an nhl franchise... in Seattle, they need a new arena to host a team, the key arena is beyond repair... so it would be the owner's responsibility to build...

lets use vancouver as an example (cuz i live here) the 4PM game (7EST) is 99% of the time a leafs game, unless there isnt a leafs game to show.. I want to watch the habs... I rarely see them, unless they play toronto, or toronto isnt playing... that is simply annoying to me, as it results in me needing to watch the game on SRC(in french.. obviously), which frustrates me because my french isnt very good

I've been looking around on Wikipedia, and the 1992 NHL Expansion Draft was held on June 18. The 1992 NHL Supplemental Draft took place on June 19. The 1992 NHL Entry Draft was held on June 20th. This makes me beleive the mistakes have happened at the Expansion Draft... worth looking into?
