Why most of you guys keep placing The Greek on the third line? What has he done to deserve that spot? From what I've seen from him, he'll be at best on the 4th line! Here's my guess - just before today's cuts. Higgins - Koivu - Ryder A Kostitsyn - Plekanec - Kovalev Latendresse - Smolinski - S. Kostitsyn Bégin - Chips - Lapierre The Greek Callups from hamilton: Grabs, D'Ag, Ferland Waivers: Garth "I can fight" Murray Markov - K-Rex Hammer - Streit The Cube - Breezer/Dandenault/Georges (in order of priority; depending of play and injuries) * IMO Georges and/or Dandenault will be traded if possible and O'Byrne will be called up Hamilton callups: O'Byrne, Côté Huet - Halak

There is no broadcast of the game CKAC/CJAD are presenting the football game, and NHL Center Ice doesn't work either

Is there a way to watch the game online? NHL Center Ice doesn't seems to work (keeps sending me to the login page even tho I entered my valid username and password...) No sopcast channel either

I only watched the 3rd period, but I also liked what I've seen from Streit and AK. I also liked SK, he has great offensive potential. Could gain some muscles tho. Ferland and Milroy are going back to the Hamilton that's fore sure... I thought Gorges did well on D too. He was good against Pittsburgh too. My guess is that he won'T go to Hamilton. He'll be our 7th or 8th D here.

I agree. And I expect more cuts before tomorrow's game against the pens. There's still too much players (55) at training camp. Carbonneau said he wanted to cut that number down to 45-46 for monday. The next cut will be ECHL and AHL bound player like Bonneau, Baynes and others I guess

C'est certain que ce sont les journalistes qui lui ont parlé d'être adjoint. Les journalistes reformulent souvent ce que les joueurs disent. Quand on lit un article et qu'on entend l'entrevue du joueur après, on se rend compte que les journalistes se permettent d'interpréter les propos du joueur, même quand ils le citent... Ce sera une très bonne chose que des nouveaux leaders se lèvent dans ce vestiaire. C'est nécessaire après avoir raté les séries. C'est moi, ou Kovalev a l'air plus motivé cette année?

I don't think D'Agostini stands a chance. He's an offensive minded player, but has no chances to crack a spot on the first or second line. He'd have to beat either Kovalev, Higgins, Ryder, Lats, and Kosts. Not a chance. Spots are open on the 3rd/4rd for Chips and maybe Grabs, but that is all. Murray's seat on the press gallery (is it the right term for "gallerie de presse"?) is also advailable, but... O'Byrne and Valentenko seem to have a chance for a spot on D, but probably 7th / 8th waiting for injuries...

Sauf que comme il a été discuté à La Zone hier soir, les chances que ce projet se réalise sont encore très incertaines parce que le groupe qui travaille sur le projet est composé de gens qui n'ont pas d'argent à investir. Leur capacité à aller chercher un commenditaire de taille qui donnerait confiance aux plus petits investisseurs sera déterminante pour la réalisation du projet. Personnellement, je trouve que Saint-Augustin-des-Maures c'est pas mal perdu dans le champs... pourquoi pas construire plus proche de Québec, si pas dans la ville même, alors à Beauport ou Cap-Rouge?

I'm really puzzled (spelling?) ont that one. 1- I can't see Price going back to the AHL. He was playoffs MVP last year, so he proved he's ready for the next level: The NHL. 2- I can't see Huet as #2 playing only 25 games. He won the Rogier Crozier trophy (best save %) in 2006. He proved that when healthy he can be one of the best goalies in the league. He deserves to start the season as the #1. 3- I can't see Halak going back to the AHL. 2005-2006: first year in North America; best ECHL goaltender. 2006-2007: steals Danis spot as Bulldogs #1; best goaltender in the AHL; played some solid games with montreal, but showed some inconsistency. I think he's proved he's NHL ready (maybe not as a starter) and that his development would be better in the NHL. So what so we do? I really don't know. Trading Huet would be risky (Halak 22; Price 20 y.o.). Halak has actually a very low market value. Plus, you don't want to trade another Thomas Vokoun for nothing...

- Tout-à-fait d'accord. Deschamps à cause de la longévité de sa populatité, Meunier à cause des grands classiques télévisuels qu'il laissera en héritage (Ding et Dong, La Petite Vie - sans compter ses pubs de Pepsi "le port de Montréal, pas les cochons là, les bateaux!") et Pérusse avec son humour vraiment unique et le fait qu'il ait su mieux que quiconque exporter son humour dans le reste de la francophonie (France, Belgique, etc). J'ajouterais à cette liste des inoubliables de l'humour québécois RBO... Ils ont tellement de classiques qu'on sait encore par coeur, plus de 10 ans après... "la soeur volante" "I want to pogne" ....
