And Stogey you forgot to add so I will add to what you say; he has for years and is currently playing top 4 minutes.
Good on his agent for his contract, bad on Bergevin for paying him what he is and the darn no-trade bit.
Parts of top 4 minutes? What does that mean, he has played top 4 minutes for couple hundred games, simply a fact that is all.
(what criteria do you use?)
Bourque scores his 11th g so far in game, he had 10g total last year in 14 more games.
Lehkonen out sick today, missed match-up vs Vejdemo, who had no pts.
Love it, SOB can motor and $1m&change/yr seems such a low salary, at least no one in their right mind would complain about this signing would they.
Kinda like Carr, dosent mind getting in face of opponents and he makes so many defenders look so slow is humerous.
Working on shot is coaches responsibility?
Did coaches tell Larry Bird/Steve Nash to shoot 1,000 free throws every day? Not a chance, as that is 100% up to player to work on before or/and after practice. But from what I have heard Galchenyuk does put in extra work on his one-timers and such and so does Subban, but maybe got 'Steve Sax' syndrome and just cant hit broad side of barn with most shots.
Seems that is difference between a Galchenyuk and a Tarasenko.
I would guess he told his foxhole-buddy to play the crap out of Flieschmann yesterday, sit Lessio (who played only because Weise sick) and give green light for d-men to rush-pinch also.
I am fine to see any of Markov, Weise, DD, Eller, Beaulieu, Barberio, Flieshmann, Pelly, Mitchell, Flynn, de la Rose, Emelin shipped out.
I think Bergevin will get back 2 draft picks and swap one roster player for another player.
Agree, not the most exciting game of year.
Too bad for Gilbert, is he done as a Hab?
I assume they have told Beaulieu to pinch and join the rush as much as you want.
Surprised they didn't call Gallagher's goal back on the high stick?
Pateryn had a few good plays.
Almost seemed like Flieshcmann was being double shifted at times, hmm why was that I wonder.
Talent killer, how so?
Lefebvre simply coaches as Habs Mgmt tells him to and Habs haven't bothered to add vet AHLers to have a winner, no matter who is coaching them.
But, which AHL prospect, with obvious NHL talent has been 'killed'?
Bergevin wants a 2nd and 3rd for Weise, will he get it?
I was wondering if he would even get a 2nd pick for him? But AK46 and Gill both got a 2nd didn't they?
Weise practicing with Eller-Pacioretty today and seems to be getting thin on d with Barberio-Pateryn in for injured Petry-Gilbert; but good to see them getting some icetime.
Hope Beaulieu keeps joining the rush.
