Sorry folks, was stuck at work... I am still trying to get out of this so that I can enjoy the game -
Is this what the Maple Leafs need to do?

It was code for two periods but turnovers cost them Habs need a full team effort, no revenge hits after the whistle or dirty hits. Petry had a turn k we that cost a goal and later went for a big hit and took himself out of position Anderson seemed more focused on being an enforcer than creating scoring chances Caufield was a boy among men Price was beatable tonight, human. ====== Habs need to make adjustments and find an extra level

I like this tweet, good to keep Daron's memory alive: -
that is a very good question. I am undecided on that. Lehkonen over Drouin would have been an insane thing to say 6 months ago

sorry for the friendly fire. I just want to keep the good vibes going and thought that revisiting those painful memories that are irrelevant now may turn this forum away for our moment as fans: we are in the fricking Stanley Cup Finals!!!! -

I thought you were trolling to get a reaction. Are you serious in wanting to bring that topic into this conversation? Ok: 1) Romanov is as good defensively at the same age, and seems to have the potential to get 20 to 30 points per season which would be similar to Sergachev 2) Habs current top 4 are playing at an elite level. We know that will not be the case under other circumstance; but in the current context: they are just great 3) the $4,800,000 cap hit wold not have allowed the Habs to build the team they have this season 4) Habs had a terrible season that year and lacked scoring. Markov and Emelin still had a year left in their contract. Of course MB was wrong, but the gamble can be explained. 5) Drouin was already an established NHLer with proven offensive talent. The analysis was wrong, but it still can be argued for/against today. -
He was surprisingly good

When Does Dominique Ducharme Get Fired?
alfredoh2009 replied to Commandant's topic in Habs & Hockey Talk
since we are arguing our interpretation and shooting the breeze here. No way, I say he is a top candidate for a head coaching job in the NHL. Way less experienced candidates are getting hired. Hakstol hasn't won a thing before being hired. -
Same here I also think there is a third possibility of what is ailing him. He may be taking care of a loved one and needs to focus on that because his head is not on hockey if he doesn’t he strikes me as the type of person who would do that again, this is me just thinking out loud and sharing my thoughts I also would like him to be part of this team going forward once he sorts out his life

When Does Dominique Ducharme Get Fired?

My guess would be that it might require an AHL stint to substantiate the brief success he is having now with another coaches' team and system ... his prior AHL stint had He has done that already, with the baby Sens. Richardson would make an excellent head coach in most NHzl teams. it’s a matter of him deciding what he wants to do next -

I think you got that right mall in all, Don’s system is definitively different and better suited for thus roster -
Saw a post in the game thread about Drouin, and looked him up. Seems he is somewhere in the south of the USA according to this article I hope he works out his situation and that he can resume his life and career https://www.danslescoulisses.com/fr/une-pensee-pour-jonathan-drouin-qui-na-pas-la-chance-de-participer-a-tout-ca/
