Not if they send Jerabek down until after the trade deadline.
-
Probably trapped in a scape room with Hemsky, wondering when someone will open their cage
-
Let's hope he gets a bad flu and is out of commission for the week.
-
I have low espectations this week: really hoping for Pleks to be traded but nothing much beyond that All in for Dahlin ! Fulll tank ahead

Good for McCarron. Every positive news are great to have in his case. -
GDT Feb. 17, Habs vs Golden Knights, 7 PM

I could watch but listened to parts of the game in the radio. Seems like the kids are doing ok. I really hope Daneault comes back to centre the 3rd line and that we try Hudon some more at center. All in for Dahlin -
Retool or rebuild. That is the question?
alfredoh2009 replied to titanfan's topic in Habs & Hockey Talk
After yesterday's pathetic game, I am about to jump into the rebuild bandwagon I like most of the individual players, including depth players like D-lo and Morrow because I am a fan first (like the father of Ann ugly kid, I can find something to like) But it is time to stop living in the past of "the most histories sports franchise..." and face the fact that we need to save the team from drinking its own marketing and actually fixing it top-down may the forum ghosts grant us some lucky bounces in the future (I do not think they ever moved to the Bell center) -
Thanks dlbalr and Commandant, I was hoping for a glimmer of hope but there are less and less positives to get from this team's roster time for a re- build
-
It is disappointing. If at least he could be a productive AHLer, he could do something there. But you are right, he looks like a bust
-
Thanks Don. Another dud... so disappointing !
-
How has McCarron been playing? any hope he can be a solid 4th line center?
-
I still think we have to do something in right wing too. They are playin Gally as a 3rd RW. We have interchangeable pieces for the other RW spots and one too many
-
And he is in the -25 range with Chucky (+/-) with tells how little scoring they are generating and how bad they defensive coverage was but I like how CJ has improved their consistency. If I am not mistaken, they are playing better defensively since January. I think they will turn it around. We just need a better centre than Danault to push him down to 3C
-
I agree, Danault would be a perfect 3rd line centre if we get a real 1C soon enough. Plecks has to be traded

That's a good point. Do we have any other picks like that? -
It's about time he gets called up!
-
That was a good read.

Good news! cheers ?
-
I heard that on the radio too, which prompted me to revisit this thread CJ has been one of the positives this season
-
It's bern a while since we discussed coachig despite the horrible results, I a me learning to appreciate the work CJ has done. When the team follows his structure and apply themselves, the Habs look good I certainly don't. Is Therrien!

I enjoy it more when they write : thet won, and are out of te playoffs, but Mete did this, Hudon did that... or, they lost, and are out of the playoffs, but Mete did this, Hudon did that... what really annoys me is clueless commentators like Bossy and Bergeron spewing their disdain for the Habs -

Onenof the $8million asset management question, eh? Who to move, who to get, and at what cost? For me, like last year when we did side moves before the VK expansion draft: I would move UFAs and bottom 6 players for picks, other team's similar players or prospects but wich fill a depth or suppprt role for our own (Terry, Cracknel, Taormina) for DLR, I would be happy to get a big body bottom 6 with cement hands that plays with energy/passion (Deslaurier) snd can win at least 51% of the draws -

Then they should trade DLR, because a draft (and a prayer) would be more useful to the Habs than DeLarose using up a roster spot -

Thanks dlbalr , it was just wishful thinking on my part. DLR played 7 minutes yestarday and I feel like both him and the Habs would benefit if he was playing more minutes in Laval -

It was wishful thinking that DLR would be waived, and Hemski would be traded for Paajsrvi after he clears to have both swedes in Laval for the remaining of the season. The org like DLR, but he won't develop by playing limited minutes at the NHL level: he needs minutes --- i like him too. I hoped at one point he would become the next Pleks
