  1. I agree, it is the risks beyond the player and the Hab’s control that makes this a risky pick. More risk and uncertainty than the Hutson pick
  2. the way Dadonov is performing in Dallas kind of makes the point I was making that he was not well used in MTL Like Lehkonen, Kulak and others that seem to perform better after they move away from MTL
  3. Harris may be a D prospect with the type of value Raty has LD is a position of strength for the Habs and trading Mailloux may turn out to be similar to trading Sergachev
  4. That sums it up very well, how I feel about using LVL to develop prospects I favour some trimming of the prospect pool via trade to better build that support environment and increase the level of compete. But it is a trim job not clear cut.
  5. He is a solid 3rd pair D that can play up over short spans. He would not fit in the Habs LD depth chart which bodes well for the Habs I am glad for him on getting this goal
  6. That same quote also caught my eye. Hugh-Gort certainly didn’t help Laval by building them for the playoffs; and next year they will probably be greener than this year. There are no prospects known to bring grit and sandpaper to the Rocket next year; so I expect a soft team unless there are some changes to address that
  7. A younger team next year, I expect some prospects to play overage years if not dominating their league already. I hope the Habs trade some of the prospects that are not projected to make the NHL club because of depth at their position: either to improve a draft position or to package an NHLer in a hockey trade
  8. Last trade deadline to shed expiring contracts and get some returns locked in with the goalies they have, they will not be successful in the playoffs so why would the screw their draft chances next year (24-25)
  9. Thanks Don. Sadly all of us that were pessimistic about the Habs season were right I hope they do similarly next year so that they draft high one last time before shedding the last of the dead wood and start their climb
  10. I am so happy for the Laval Rocket. Too bad some prospects in the NHL will not get to enjoy the playoff atmosphere. I was too young then, but I remember hearing a bit of the stories about the mythical 1980s Les Voisins de Laval when Mario Lemieux was there. There were also the crazy 1990s period of the "House of Pain". Let's hope this year's Rocket goes far.
  11. thanks buddy, that's really nice. Appreciated. I didn't come back to get my ego inflated, just wanted to clarify things and wish Teasdale all the best (other thread).
  12. really happy for Teaser this post quote reflects hi sprogression this year (loosely translated by me) : "He has shown so much character. You arrive at camp, you don;t get a sniff (no one pays attention), you tell yourself the organization does not have confidence in you. You arrive at the minors/AHL and you don;t play..."
  13. I meant all devices, don't get all "conspiracy" on me. I am just a vegetable head trying to take root on this world I've fixed the previous post
  14. logging out of all accounts devices now. Talk t you all in the fall.
  15. threre where a couple of cheap waivers that the Habs could have picked up to finish the season if they wanted to send reinforcements to Laval I was going to post those names whe they were trickling down but didn’t because . I’ve lost interest in the Rocket and the Habs this season. I only follow this forum because it is the best place to keep updated on what is going on.
  16. I am not so sure about that, I believe that with Ylonen, Harvey-Pinard, Barron and a healthy Belzile the Rocket would have done well. If Harris would have been papered to the AHL, that would also have been really good for a long playoff run. That is what I would have done. But of course, no potato head has ever GM'ed a professional Hockey team.
  17. too late for loosing games to improve lottery draft odds, that ship has sailed. Beat the leafs and break their hearts. Go Habs Go!
  18. I remember Gallagher gettin one stuck under his skate or Pleks
