  1. Hoffman, Drouin and Armia have not been used properly. All three have big holes in their game, but when used by a Davy coach in specific roles, they provide value. In how they are being used, their value is not maximized and I believe they ate fling through the motions knowing they will be traded. Odd lineup, I would have: Caufield - Suzuki - Dach Anderson - Dvorak - Gallagher Hoffman - Evans - Armia Slafkovsky - Drouin - Dadonov Edmundson - Kovacevic Xhekaj - Wideman Harris - Barron
  2. Seems to me the Habs management and or coaching staff doesn’t trust the Laval coaching staff with development. I am sad to see they seem to “ghost” their AHL team and surprised none of the journalists has questioned them about this Talk about an extended honeymoon period
  3. We are talking about a 4th liner that would play less than 10min , right? Why bring up a prospect for that? I figured we should just call a filler from early March to finish the season. Calling up the captain for services rendered is what I would do
  4. you keep reminding me of that. I just hope that later this year, after they trade Monahan, they bring him up on a lost season for “services rendered” He is a better center than Dach, would play with more heart than half the forward with the Habs right now, and will win more board battles than light weights like Pitlick I still 💌 Belzile like I 💌Pezzetta
  5. Good read, I could t agree more on Slafkovsky and Harris
  6. Guhle has been the best D all season. They better take their time before returning him to the lineup just what the tank for Bédard needed
  7. Still over 4min for the major on the scramble before 11:57 to go, Barre-Boulet sitting for 10min for unsportsmanship
  8. I like Belzile, he is centering the top line and I still believe he would be just fine centering the Habs 4th
  9. Big scramble by all player on ice after boarding on Harvey-Pinard
  10. Dello is out, injured. Rocket is still leading mid-way I the 3rd. From the bits and pieces I’ve seen: Harvey-Pinard, Ylonen and Teasdale have been alright.
  11. I find it funny when he has that lost puppy look on the bench and that the coaching staff is looking down with their head in their hands tanking is a grind on anyone hoping for a miracle to happen
  12. I agree with discussing this, some coaching decisions are questionable
  13. Good result for the tank as expected bone of the pending UFAs got hurt. I am happy i don’t want to think how much worse the Halbs could play if they were tanking
  14. Dach is a legit top-6 winger He may turn out to be a good center, much like when Drouin was tried as C
  15. Didn’t the Habs get Montembeault from FLA on waivers? I am almost certain he plays and that he overshoots his positioning all game from being too excited to play them in FLA
  16. Monahan is a big loss for sure. But the team should be able to overcome that. I am not a fan of the inability shown by the coaching staff to make in-game d’ajustements. When à line is not going, why keep it together? And if trailing, why not shortening the bench? I have not stopped watching the games, but I can’t do it live anymore. I record them and watch later, so that I can fast forward commercials and intermissions. I am. still hopefull that a full rebuild may bring a cup. I want to enjoy watching the youngling improve and evolve into a cup winning team
  17. Good result for the tank; because none of the pending UFAs got hurt, I am happy I hate seeing some of the youngsters being passengers out there. Coaching team let’s them get away with lazy plays and lack of intensity/engagement Montembeault playing tomorrow in FLA: he will be too jacked up and Habs will lose Go Habs Go!!!
  18. Thanks for sharing, I also saw it reported here:
  19. I found a game late in the 2010-2011 season that I believe i as close to the one I posted as I can get: https://www.hockey-reference.com/boxscores/201103240BOS.html
  20. The lineup I posted above is most probably from the end of the 2010-2011 season. This is early in the 2011-2012 season: http://web.archive.org/web/20110915000000*/https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/
