Great first period by the boys! Gonna have to come out strong in the second period!

Another amazing performance by the Habs in California. I'm sorry, but I do not acccept that we suck this much in Cali. WTF?? The Habs might still make the playoffs, but they'll most likely finish 8th and face the Lightning, which means they'll get swept!

Enough of this shit. KK had better be playing tonight in Anaheim. We need him up front.

I think it's safe to say that if the Habs make it in the playoffs as the number 8 seed, it's gonna be a very short playoff season for our boys. They'd be stuck playing Tampa and I don't see us winning more than 1 game against Tampa. Ideally, you want to finish 7th, so you can move over to the metropolitan division, but for that to happen, the Habs are gonna have to start winning some games. Carolina is in 7th, they have the same number of points as the Habs, except they have two games in hand. It's gonna be tough!

Hopefully kk's "forced" vacation is over. As much as I understand the reasoning for letting him rest these past few games, our season is on the line, and we need him! Weise can sit the next game and get KK back on teh 3rd line!

Agreed. I'm almost sure Niemi gets the start in S-J and Carey will be back in Nets against the Ducks. I think it's the right thing to do. Even with Price in nets, our chances of beating the Sharks (In San-Jose) are slim to none. We haven't won a game there since 1999!!!

I watched the first two periods last night, and my feeling was that our boys were lucky to get out of La La Land with two points. For long stretches of time, our boys couldn't even get the puck past the red line and alot of the passes were off. I suppose a part of that is attributable to the lousy quality of the ice! I don't know why most people keep saying that the Kings are big and SLOW. Watching them skate last night, I did not have the feeling that they are a slow team! They might have a few players who are clearly over the hill (cough, cough Phaneuf) but overall, I thought they were a pretty fast skating team. Lucky for us that Carey made that huge save at the end of the second period, or else it could have been a very different result. Hopefully, our boys will give a better effort against the Sharks and the Ducks!

Huge win last night. THere's no doubt in my mind that without Carey Price, they would've lost that one in the 1st period! Let's hope that the Pens will be more tired than the Habs for tonight's game!

I just turned on the game! NOt in my wildest dreams could I have dreamed the Habs to be leading 5-1 with 4 minutes to go!!! THis team is really impressing me!

I must admit the kid is impressing me more and more as the season moves forward. You would expect some kind of let down from KK at this point in the season, but he only seems to get better!

I like that trade! I think it's fair for both teams!

I'd love to see Bergevin get his hands on Lindholm. He'd be a perfect partner for Weber!

I'd be willing to part ways with Mete or Juulsen and a high draft pick to get my hands on one of Gostisbehere or Matheson. I know that offering one of Mete and/or Juulsen and a 2nd round pick is not enough to get you hands on Gostisbehere or Matheson, but that's why I suggested picking up some dead weight from one of those teams (like we did with Winnipeg in the Armia deal).

What about trying to pick up S. Gostisbehere or M. Matheson? Maybe if we offer the Flyers or the Pathers to pick up some dead weight off their roster, the cost would be lower... Both players are 25 or under, have lots of NHL experience and both could play next to Weber. If you could get your hands on one of them without having to give up Suzuki or Poehling.

Great game last night! Aweful call by the ref to disallow the Danault goal! I really hope the NHL will look into this and let the ref know he made a bad call!

Huge win by the boys tonight! The 4 points picked up in the western road trip is huge!

I was thinking the same thing. When Shea does return, there will be a period of time where the other players will take their feet off then gas!

Midway through November, and Domi is definitely superior to Chucky! Yes, Domi had back to back 9 goal seasons, but he's already got 10 goals this year. He's on pace to score 99 points. Even if he does slow down (which I expect he will), he has a very good chance of finishing with at least 70 points this season (which would be amazing!) Not to mention that unlike Chucky, Domi is a way better defensive player!

Looking forward to this game tonight! Wanna see how Carey does and I also hope to see Max continue on his great start to the season!
