I think the habs were great!!!!!!! Played great and kept games close right to the end. We have a strong foundation with great kids coming up to support our habfan future for at least a few years. A couple of changes and we'll be a stronger more competitive team. If it wasn't for Theo I think we would have been challenging Carolina for first the whole entire season. Great things are coming our way as fans. Gainey will make sure of that. As for All you negative freaks who are worse then the Montreal media, only because every time someone farts, you make a thread here. Only to find out it was bullshit anyway. Why? after such a great series, do you all want to trade the whole ######ing team. Crazy...................... Or maby you clowns want to be like the Boston Bruins. Would that make you happy? Thank-you Habs For salvaging what looked to be one of our worst seasons ever, a few months ago!!!

There are so many reasons for Gainey not stirring up the line-up. The Canes are out playing us at the moment. Grinding harder, shooting more all that good stuff. The Habs are playing a really strong team. I'm not at practice, but since Gainey isn't bringing the kids in I'm going to come to the conclusion that they don't look like they can help the game plan for the moment. Bulis, Ribs, Zednik, Higgins need to come through big time. As for Pleks and Perez....they have been around long enough now to show us they are able to reach a little deeper and come up BIG. It's time......right now. I'm not looking at calling up Latendresse for Game six, We have the tools in place. They just need to show up tonight. Kovalev has the Canes full attention now that he told them Game 1 and 2 were like practice, with all the room he had.............stupid! Whoever was covering Koivu is now taking kovalev's double shifts, who is probably fried. I'm looking to Ryder...........he needs to bury a few on the power play. GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!! What the hell happend to the team that was pinning up the Canes in their own end for shifts at a time. I used to come to these boards looking for information that I couldn't find myself. Haven't really posted anything lately, simply because not a lot of interesting conversation going on. This one takes the cake! Cerebus. Thank- God you are not Bob Gainey. Your shake-up is something a team might do if they lost the first 20 games of the season. MIGHT!!!!! Montreal is lucky to be in this round at 3-2. The habs are not getting blown out. They've run into a hot goaltender with a very Very VERY strong team in front of him. I think they've held their own without their captain to boot. Komisarek on the PK? He has 2 friggin goals this year. Break up all the lines? For the last game? Your nuts........ Huet and the defense have been great, shutting down this Carolina Team wave after wave. Unfortunatly, we can't get the goal or two to come out on top. I would just tell the guys. GET THE FIRST GOAL and don't look back. You are what got us here and You are what will win this series for us. We need 2 more games. Work a little Harder.................. Dismantle the lines now. I think would be suicide against the Hurricanes.

Group 2 Free Agent 55GP 2G 15A 17pts +13 Average ice time has been 20 mins After more then half a season behind him, I like what I've seen from this kid. I'm still bummed we lost him, in such a stupid way that is. I think we should try and get him back over the summer. Although he probably wouldn't want to. He's going to become a great defensemen, that is going to put some numbers on the the board.I'm sure of it.

Well atleast the habs aren't totally broken. The way I see it Gainey has got them pushing right from the start. They compete with everyone in the first. You are right though. Once we have the lead we seem to sit back on our heels and let the other team take over. I'm positive, the boys are working on something, they just haven't found it yet. It's in place, they just don't get it yet. Gainey will make sure, it's all in place by saturday. One thing to remember is Begin is missing. He is very valuable to this team. Begin is the one who blocks shots, chases defensemen down in behind the net and forces plays. This disturbs other teams break-outs, and set plays. If other teams don't have time to think, they are not going to launch a comeback. At the end of the day what I'm saying is........ The Habs have not been able to get their forecheck together because no-one has stood up and REPLACED what Begin brings to this team.A big piece of the puzzle is missing. Do we have a plan of attack without this piece???????????????? I hope he comes back soon. IF NOT.............The habs can't continue to play as if Begin is there. A NEW plan of attack needs to be created.. I'm sure Gainey will address this. Does anyone know how far away Begin's knee is from getting to be 100%. We need him big time.

We get to see Carb and Gainey in play-off form. When we played the Canes things were not right . Don't jump on the Canes bandwagon yet. This a brand new season. The habs have got better the canes have got worse. Ever since they brought over play-off expierience.......Recchi? maby he'll teach them all how to CHOKE.
