habscout
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/hockey/colu...ock-draft_N.htm If those are the two players the Habs end up getting, I will be pleased. Shattenkirk is listed at 6'0", 185 lbs, and could become a #1 / 2 defenceman in the NHL, with good offensive upside. His style is very similar to Andrei Markov. Eller is a Danish player, who was playing in the Swedish junior league. He's listed at 6'1" 195 lbs, and has a high skill set. I believe he could develop into a top 2 line centre [preferred] or winger in a few seasons.
BTH
I didn't know Shattenkirk's potential was that high. Main problem I see with him is he plays RD and that's where most of our good prospects are. The LD position could use some help.
Athlétique.Canadien
After last years draft and White and Maxwell being picked, I say TRUST! Licking my Habs chops for FRIDAY! Can't wait. Brandy and cigars required. We'll like it

With two picks it is exciting.
TheAussiePosse
I wish Savard was still here, he had the golden touch when picking...

Couture and Perron the best combination without any trade to chose top 5...
BTH
TSN has us taking Esposito and Hamill (MacGuire made both our picks). That wouldn't be bad -we would no longer have any problem with offensive centers. TSN also has Turris going 1st and Petrecki going 21st though. MAK
I wish Savard was still here, he had the golden touch when picking... not in the 1st round !! he sucked unless you meant andré Edited June 21, 2007 by marky_and_komi
Chris
Mcdonagh, Petrecki and Maclean. I read alot of people like Mcdonagh. He is a solid 2 way D man with some pretty good offensive upside. All have good size. I think they will go one D man and 1 forwrd in the first round.
