BCHabnut
Here is a list of yesterday's games which were close in the last 5 minutes. And what do you know? The winning team is penalized in the last 5. Pens wild 3rd period : 14:56 Tyler Kennedy: 2 Minutes for Interference of Kurtis Foster Habs / Thrashers : 13:38 Ken Klee: 2 Minutes for High-sticking Alexei Kovalev (that was not a high sticking penalty) Coyotes / Blues : 13:53 Steve Reinprecht: 2 Minutes for Hooking Bryce Salvador 3 out of 5 games had penalties in around the last 5 minutes to the winning team. The Calgary game was a blowout, and the Oilers game was tied till the dying seconds of the 3rd. Start paying attention to this. It is funny. blicemj
is this why most of the color people have to be so obnoxious? nevermind that, it seems pierre maguire is one of those who says what's on his mind, and he didn't agree with that Kovalev penalty either Edited October 31, 2007 by blicemj

sbhatt
nevermind that, it seems pierre maguire is one of those who says what's on his mind, and he didn't agree with that Kovalev penalty either A stick came up and hit Kovalev in the front of his helmet just above his face. That is a penalty, and should be called every damn time. Why only call careless stick contact when it clips someone in the face and hurts them? If you want to condition players to keep their sticks down, you hit them with a penalty every time their stick makes contact with another player above the shoulders. JMMR
Pr you could choose to believe that the teams coming from behind are working so hard to tie the game that they are drawing penaltys. Edited October 31, 2007 by JMMR
