Athlétique.Canadien
It's so terribly unhappy () when Sergei Kostitsyn, Ryan O'Byrne or Maxim Lapierre are the reserves. And we also have a player like Grabovsky to take Latendresse's spot while he recuperates.
Athlétique.Canadien
Stole this info which was submitted on another board: The following numbers illustrate how many players each team has making the top 50 hitters in the NHL, here's the top 10: Montreal: 7 Ottawa : 5 NY Rangers : 5 Anaheim : 3 Calgary : 3 Dallas : 3 Los Angeles : 3 Washington : 3 Atlanta : 2 Boston :

Are these figures for this year, or last year?

Lazy players do not finish their checks. I am optimistic that a swoon can be avoided if they keep their work ethic up. The fact that they have a bunch of guys ready to step in at all times probably keeps them all honest.
simonus
It's good to see we have 7 top checkers, but I wonder what our overall team numbers look like. I couldn't easily find that info.
