Guys Koivu is not unhappy just relieved .

He said he wanted help in the off-season and he got it not though a UFA but from within.

He will come around and be a force in the playoffs and down the stretch as per usual.

(and I think he may be playing through a few bumps and bruises)- which is no excuse but I do hope the Habs can clicnh a bit earlier so he can havea short rest before the post season.

I agree JMMR. Koivu isn't his old self, but now fro the first time, when Koivu isn't playing well, the Habs can still win. This is the first time I have seen this in many years. I just wish we could have two lines on fire at the same time. Still, it is so relieving to know that the team has enough depth, that when their leader struggles, they can take up the slack and keep winning. I would also like to take this time to strike all negative things that I said about Kovy last year.

Oh, I have no doubt that Koivu will be his usual money player in the playoffs...he's always been money in the playoffs, and he'll be that again this year.

What I'm saying is that don't be surprised if we find out that Saku has been traded this summer.
