brobin
wow.. Cole is looking sharp and now he pots one.. I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot of those this year from him.

Trizzak
Kostitsyn with a bullet, but Willsie going to the net gave him that opening. Willsie this season's Darche?
brobin
Amazing turn around.. What a shift by AK after his goal.. if he plays like that all season we are going to be pretty strong up front.

Trizzak
Those two shifts were soooooo entertaining!!! NHLers playing with AHLers and Juniors against other NHLers playing with AHLers and Juniors... Missed assignments and open ice lead to very entertaining hockey
brobin
Nice work by Lawson so far.. we seem to have ceded the momentum again but he is standing tall.
Trizzak
Man I hate staged fights. Might as well give each player a theme song and some pyro. Good on Schultz for a good tilt though, I guess.

Was a good fight. I look forward to seeing Schulz in his next game, which is probably next September about this time.
dlbalr
Was a good fight. I look forward to seeing Schulz in his next game, which is probably next September about this time. At least he got into a game this September. You may recall that last year, he was the only one in camp who was a healthy scratch every game. Last week, we found out that was because he showed up out of shape. Decent second period overall though that last goal hurt. Kostitsyn looked really good that period. Trizzak
Kostitsyn looked really good that period. It's like he saw the Cole goal and said "Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-"
Natural Mystic
NHLers playing with AHLers and Juniors against other NHLers playing with AHLers and Juniors... Missed assignments and open ice lead to very entertaining hockey Yeah for sure. I've missed hockey so much. Trotter has got some good speed. Yemelin is pretty crafty on the point. AK playing like he can. Cole is HUGE. Weber has come a long way, really happy at his play, I've always liked him. Diaz is a surprise t0o, same with Wowitka. One more period, maybe OT, then another 24 hours until the next game!
BCHabnut
The poise and smarts of Yemelin at the point is very promising
bbp
I am not watching the game... but reading this generally makes me happy I missed hockey

Trizzak
So who is Lawson? Career AHLer, did spend some time on the Islanders last season.
BCHabnut
Diaz and Woywitka look good with the puck too.
Trizzak
Diaz and Woywitka look good with the puck too. I disagree on Diaz. He's looked very shaky at the opposition blue line.
brobin
well, some good signs from Cole and AK, but otherwise i didn't see anything worth getting excited about with the kids. a few of them were steady (Yemelin for example), but I don't see too many of them cracking the lineup anytime soon. Trizzak
Palushaj board work is terrible. I expect about 5 NHL games for him this season, tops.

And any word on whether he'll get into one this year?
