REV-G
Just curious, does anyone know if George Parros or Douglas Murray are playing this year? Also is Mike Komisarek doing well with Carolina?

Lovett's Magnatones
I heard that Murray turned down some PTO offers out of pride, and he's skating in Sweden with some team. Komisarek was released from a PTO in NJ. Parros is hopefully reading a book somewhere.

habs rule
from wikipedia: For the 2014 season, Murray has been playing with Djurgårdens_IF_Hockey.
KoRP
Murray and Parros just spotted on a beach in Nova Scotia, digging sea clams for unemployment stamps.....

DON
Of course, he was entertaining! (and that is all that NHL is, trivial entertainment)
Guest Stogey24
Advanced stats tear Murray a new asshole, but there is no doubting that he was wrecking ball. I think I was the only guy who wouldn't have minded seeing him back as an enforcer. His time has passed as an NHL player though
lazy26
I liked Murray solely for that one time in about every 7 games when he'd dummy the opposition. Sadly, he was a liability the rest of the time.

DON
sorry bud , he just made me laugh more than anyone else lately (and my nickname when was 6 yr old player was "Leadfoot" and never was fleet afoot, so pull for many not so swift d-men over the years, like a Rick Green, Ludwig, Gill and yes...Crankshaft) And Habs won more than not with him playing, so didn't hurt, he brought some grit to a soft d-core and the hate for him was also too funny. The hate for him was overblown. He added to the PK, and brought a desperately needed physical element. He was well past his prime, but his role was a number 6/7 who played twelve to fifteen minutes per game. A player like that can't do much good or bad. He was an anchor on the offense and transition game, but the hate came from the fancy-stats "geeks" who try to turn hockey into a pseudo-intellectual shoving match. (After all...fancy stats is just arithmetic, basic excel knowledge and graphing that most learn in high school).

I just thought we needed a better d . I love some of the crunches he gave out though. He was big as a tank and about as fast figuratively speaking. KoRP
My favorite Murray moment was him going toe to toe with John Scott. Also liked how he destroyed the ones he timed right for a hit, the big fella did the job he was brought in for, and agree the hate was out of this world, especially over on the Chicken Little Habs site.... I check in over there periodically. Marc Dumont does a really good job. I had a big laugh over the sensationalist article written about Eller being scratched, with a scathing indictment of Therrien, only to be taken down quietly after he was in the lineup. The Chicoutimi Cucumber
I liked Murray because he was hilarious. Players like that - tanks on ice - always are. I love 'em from an entertainment viewpoint. But yes, I'd MUCH rather have Tinordi out there at this point.
KoRP
I think Tinordi has been pretty good this year, and looks to be making strides toward being what we all hoped for him, a physical presence on the back end, albeit so far, with a little Monty Python thrown in. Not all roses, but not that bad.... better skater than I thought, good fighter, and at this point, definitely better than Beaulieu has been. Don't you know that Beaulieu is the second coming of Bobby Orr being held back by Therrien's insane refusal to dress him 35 minutes per night? Get with the program, buddy.
