He's on my shortlist at 56/58.  The Habs have seen plenty of him over the years too with McNiven also in Owen Sound.

Texier, Ferraro, and Salo were all players I thought would be options for the Habs in the 3rd round and they're all gone already.

There goes Comtois to Anaheim.

Damn, Comtois was just taken by Anaheim at #50.  :-(

Josh Brook, d-man to the Habs.  That's who we had in our mock.

wow you guys nailed it

That brook pick looks good. 7 points in 7 playoffs games, as well as good production all year. Apparently decent 2 way as well.

Mismash at 68...simply for odd name.

Woohoo !  We got another mock pick correct. Brian our first round wasn't as good as usual; 3 correct picks I think.

Brook is a solid prospect, good overall, so there's a lot to like in his game, and very few weaknesses.

I like Ikonen at this spot, as he has game breaking speed and shooting skills.  He seems close to Saku Koivu's size when he was drafted.  I'm not sure if he'll be better at center or on the wing in the pros, so time will tell there.

Another RH d-man for Habs.

Scott Walford, another D at 68.

LH d-man, better and another WHL d-man.

Habs definetly drafting for need

Of course!  Centers and defencemen are all they need to focus on this year.  Probably next year too.

I like this stat about Walford.  At the end of the season when another experienced defenceman on his team was injured, Walford got more ice time and scored 14 points in the last 13 games!

Looks like will be numerous good looking kids still available at 87 as well.

Will it be a d-man or c?

Guess Rathbone.
