GoHabs2002
Latendresse will play with Dagenais and Ribeiro tomorrow night against Toronto. I gotta think that he'll play Saturday as well. He's playing great, but I think management will want to see how he'll handle a busier schedule and tighter checking. If Letendresse has another good night tomorrow night then Saturday, it should be tougher with the Leafs paying even closer attention to him and that game will be the big test for him. There remains 39 players left in camp for 23 spots. Some teams are going to a reduced roster (20-21 players) and not carrying extra players. It'll be interesting to see what Gainey does. Either way, I think Julien and Gainey are going to make Letendresse force them to put him on the roster. They don't HAVE to have him so it's up to him. JLP
Dagenais-Ribeiro-Latendresse A youngish, smaller playmaker, a big-sized scorer, and an 18 year-old, big-sized hitter who can score too. And all three are local guys to boot! Hmm, this would be a well-balanced line that could really gel, and would be a big fan favorite for sure. Best thing, the entire trio would cost us about what we are paying Rivet alone!

diebels
Yann Danis will start in goal tonight, while Carey Price, the Canadiens' first-round pick in June, will take over midway through the second period. Three players - Cory Locke, Andrei Kostitsyn and Jonathan Aitken - will all make their first exhibition appearances tonight. habsfan88
does anybody know the leafs starting lineup? just to compare..
Toren
Corey Locke, now there's a player I wanna see get a shot. For a guy everyone counted out as early as the draft, he's really shut his critics up. Had a great rookie season in the AHL, and while he'll most likely end up back in Hamilton, it'll be nice to see how he handles the faster, stronger NHL. Kostsitsyn for the same reason, too. He didn't have a great year, as most of us had high expectations for him, but he's got the tools to really succeed, especially in the new-look NHL (if it even comes to that. We'll see if gets out of the preseason).

Lord Chronic
I think we're going to be in tough tonight with this line up the Habs are iceing. This will be an excellent opportunity for the young guy's in the line up to show what they can do against the big gay leafs lol. Also Vandermeer, Ivanis and Aitken are going to be in the line up, i expect all of them to fight tonight. DAMN i wish i could see this game.
