Strummerman
Nedved played for Canada in 1994 olympics when Forberg beat Corey Hirsch with that magic shotout goal. Tommy Salo saved Paul Karyias last atempt and Sweden won the gold medal. Im pretty sure Petr Nedved played with Team Canada. More unsure about Holik tough... Did he aplied for citizenship but then got denied to play in the world championships? I think that IOC and IIHF have different rules? And the more I think about it the more sure I am that it was US citizenship that Holik searched. Remember Ulf Samuelsson in Nagano? He was sent home as he had dual citizenship, US and Swedish. So the answer is Statsny and Nedved. Petr Nedved has lived in Canada. At least he played in Canada. Vancouver if Im not misstaken. correct Stastny and Nedved - Slovakia still was part of Czechoslovakia therefore Peter played for them Im not sure if Nedved played for the Czech republic or Czechoslavakia- You get to ask next question Edited February 4, 2006 by Strummerman
ch_nl
OK. BTH
Alexei Kovalev and Radek Bonk would be my guess. I'm not sure if Bonk's won a Cup but we don't have very many players who have. Dandenault won 3 but obviously never made the Olympic or World Cup teams. Wait - were you talking about Canadiens history or players currently on the team? ch_nl
Ok here's a hint. Only 16 players have acomplished this. None of the players on the current Montreal Canadiens has done so. One of the player won a cup with Montreal, the other one with New Jersey but he has played for the Habs.
mathieu30
Boy, this is a difficult one. I have no idea. Guessing, Turner Stevenson? Larry Robinson, maybe Malakhov? Edited February 4, 2006 by mathieu30

BTH
Malakhov must be the New Jersey one. The other is probably an old-timer like Gainey or Dryden.

BTH
That was the fastest answer in HW Trivia history. Next question: Uh.........wow....takes my more time to think of a question than to answer one.... Got one! But it's pretty easy: Who is the player who captained the same team for the longest period of time in history? How many seasons? I'm not exactly sure about how long but I'm sure osmeone will know. Damnit! I told you that, didn't I? Yep. You told me on MSN a long time ago and then I read in a Gazette article a couple of months ago.
