BTH
Zednik is on frikkin fire!!! I haven't seen anything move so fast since Dany Heatley got arrested.
brobin
the defense has not looked sharp tonight. That last play was lazy effort by rivet. Huet still looks tired, he is very slow getting across the crease, but he was hung out to dry on that one... and there is the PP for Toronto courtesy of Zeddy... grrrr

shortcat1
they just showed the replay of kovalev's close try. it went off the back of his blade as he swung around the net. that just goes to confirm my attitude that curved blades are as much a curse as they are a blessing... handling the puck on the back side of the stick can be very tricky... nevermind back hand shots which have become pretty well extinct as compared to what they used to be with straighter sticks. BTH
There was some blatent hooking by toronto, no call, naturally... Holding .. oh wait.. no call... Yep. Ribeiro and Perezhogin worked hard but no call. Good game so far. I like how we keep on scoring the first goal under Gainey. Okay, not in Philly, but we've still drastically improved in that crucial stat.

Habber
People...TSN, CBC and even the NHL want the laffs in the playoffs. Even Don Cherry suggested the ratings will be poor if the laffs are not in. The refs are trying their best.
