Fucale + Price = Stress

Price: Could be a legend in the making. Is imo.

Fucale: Local stud - Lil' Lu(Luongo) potential.

When Fucale is 24. Price will be 32.

Fantastic problem to have. Just makes me wish Zak was suddenly somehow 16 again.

I forsee a Schneider for Horvat type deal in the near to mid distant.. ish.. future. :monkey:

That would be great. Hopefully the Bruins have traded Malcolm Subban to lock down eighth in the distant future to drive up a market.

Two starting goalies has happened many times with many results. It's similar to football teams having to choose a starting QB.

Belfour and Hasek: Both ended up starters, both left Chicago, one became the best goalie of a generation.

Price and Halak: Both ended up starters, Price stayed in Montreal, Halak has been up and down but is still a starter.

Schneider and Luongo: Vancouver traded both, had to sign Miller on off-season to rectify mistake, both goalies still starters.

Vachon and Dryden: Montreal traded Vachon, who was a starter for the Kings, to make room for rookie Dryden. Dryden in HOF, Rogie was still great.

Thomas and Rask: Thomas wins Cup, goes crazy, team goes with Rask. Rask steady in Boston, Thomas' career over.

Bryzgalov and Bobrovsky: Top Cop traded to Columbus, wins Vezina. Bryzgalov bought out, barely sticking in NHL. Philly now runs with Columbus' old starter.

There's no right or wrong way really. Sometimes you stick with the right goalie. Sometimes you stick with the wrong goalie. Sometimes you lose both and look dumb.
