but his high hockey IQ though. You must have missed that they all have 3 or 6 fingers. Exactly as alfredo said its AI and it messes up those fine details. The Avs are officially out so the Nucks or Oils now have a better chance at making the Final. -
2024 NHL Entry Draft
Prime Minister Koivu replied to Habs Fan in Edmonton's topic in Habs & Hockey Talk
This is not a HuGo player and I would be shocked if they took him. I think it was Catton that had high IQ and work ethic - that’s a HuGo player I wish the draft was tomorrow -

I sure wasn’t expecting that late goal. The game was so tight and hard checking that it could have gone into a few overtimes Happy Boston is gone -
Yes Caufield was a better playmaker too at that age.

Prunes eliminate Laffs in the most crushing fashion imaginable, then get eliminated next round. Appreciate their following the script to a T. -

Ha Ha 😝 Screw you Boston -
Indeed. When the Habs picked Slafkovsky, they said that they were not picking the best player that day, but, rather, the one they expected would be the best in five years. And, so far, so good ...

2024 NHL Entry Draft
Habs Fan in Edmonton replied to Habs Fan in Edmonton's topic in Habs & Hockey Talk
Not a particularly good review but in fairness they have been all over the place for Eiserman. “While his shot, offensive routes, and ability to release in tight space continue to be top-of-the-class strengths, it’s simply not enough. A lack of overall engagement, poor decision-making, a lack of explosive skating, and an overall passivity have regularly marred viewings.” – David Saad, Dobber Prospects - Yesterday

Is Eiserman's defense much worse than what Caufield's was in his draft year?
-
Leafs & Canucks have both played so long without a cup, one reason am pulling for Canucks over Oilers. And hope Leafs continue on as-is.
-
You would think that eventually they will find the right captain to pilot the Titanic. Or maybe there is a design flaw on the ship and it doesn't matter?

There will be one change at least behind the bench as Kelly Buchberger is out as an assistant coach. He's moving to the AJHL.

Yes, is the player coachable. -
It is the scout's job to assess not only the current state of his defensive game but to project his willingness/ability to improve it ... hopefully "hope" is not the basis of their evaluation.

I didnt think Canucks would be playing a game 6, maybe i underrated them. -
Comment on Caufield before 2019 draft; Under Construction (Improvements to Make) Lack of size Needs to improve on defense Doesn’t like to handle the puck in the defensive zone How much worse is Eiserman's defensive effort or skills? And he dosent turn 18 till August, so is hope he can see the light defensively.

I read some place that he is very good offensively overall as well. Its his defence that needs work.

This is similar to the football (soccer) VAR system: the VAR is an assistant referee, and the ultimate decision remains with the on-field referee. And I do agree that this would be better than having the league make the call. -
Booked our tickets to Vegas! Second year in a row my boys and I will be attending the draft!!
-
... if Caufield stays is fully healthy and not on IR 👍

Why does, I'm assuming, McDavid have 4 arms and the player on his right, our left, have none? Game 6 will be relatively penalty free. There's a pretty common pattern in playoff series. Few calls, the series gets out of hands, then you get a game where more than everything is called (last night), then it goes back to almost no calls again. Especially if it's an elimination game. Edmonton won't, or shouldn't, have it's PP to rely on.
