Danis should be playing as many games as possible. It is highly unlikely he would get much action behind Theodore. Allow Danis to grow and improve to starter quality in the Minors so maybe one day he will have #1 starter value if they ever want to move him.

Everyone knew this was coming it is just as any NHL rule change is attempted to better the game and speed the game up. In the off season everyone is all for it but when teams start loosing games in the dying seconds due to a blown call, referees are more hesitant to make the call and will allow more to slide. This is what happens every time no one can tell me they are surprised. I am not saying that I don’t think that they will crack down again this year but this was expected teams don’t like to loose or win on the backs of the referees.

First of all I am not arguing that Theo is not on the list. But Cujo has no job being on this team. I will admit yes he is playing very well right now. But doesn’t Cujo always play his best hockey in low or no pressure situations. And on the other hand terrible in high-pressure situations. Let us recall Olympics 2002 and oh lets not forget when he could not even win one game for Detroit (the all star team) when the Ducks swept them. And don’t tell me Giguare stood on his head, because I know he did but it is a goalies job to at least steal one game a series and he will never win the pressure games for a team. In my opinion he will do amazing in Phoenix until the playoff stretch when the wins become more vital. I would be happy with Marty B, Roberto, and Marty T as our goalies but Cujo should not get another free goal medal for being the great ones goalie.

I don’t think you will see that ever happen. Ryder and Ribero are friends and I don’t think that his comments mean anything to their friendship I believe those comments must have been taken out of context because. If it were not for Ryder last year Ribero would not have led this club in points.

Yeah and the only goal the Leafs could muster up was on a 5 on 3 big surprise. I would have to bet they lead the league in opportunities on the 5 on 3. Yeah. I agree very classy by George and Bob. Did anyone know that George often travels with the team? When I was at the most recent habs Sabres and habs leafs games. We stayed at the same hotel as the players and sure enough George rode the bus with the team from Buffalo to Toronto. I asked him if he always does that and he says whenever he has the time he is always with the team. He is a great man, my dad and I met him in Ottawa when he was going around to all the Habs fans in the Corel centre and thanking them for their support. He even gave my dad and I tickets to a ranger’s game that year. He has made this team a contender again and I am proud that he is our team’s owner.
