i think starchoice warrantees receivers for as long as you're a customer. starchoice has always been a great company IMO. they're as good as apple in terms of customer service.

not anymore.. the amount of heavy borrowing needed to purchase the team for $600+ million is staggering. Gillett bought the team for $180M and recouped every penny during the day-to-day operations, and sold it at great profit. Eventually the Molsons will recoup their money but it will take a while.

dont forget though... that every player in the nhl pays taxes in every state/jurisdiction they played in. though habs happen to play 41 games in quebec, thus the bulk of the taxes go to quebec. but then theres taxes owed on games played elsewhere as well.

man arent u just a beacon of criticism. with too many scouts, you will have many different opinions on players. this is where video scouting comes in, so that the man that makes all the decisions(PG) can see for himself the facts(video replay of the player in question). I do not see this as bad news at all. A proper scout costs a lot of money(salary, airfare, hotel, etc) and doesn't guarantee shit. At least with video scouting, PG will see what the scout will see, so there is no need for the scout anymore. also don't forget that PG is director of PRO scouting, not amateur scouting. Timmins is still director of amateur scouting.

pleks is one of the top-30 point-getters in the league, and he plays A LOT of minutes shorthanded on the PK. not many players on that list play the PK as much as pleks does.
