just a thought... A team in need to get to the cap floor for next season... would such a team acquire a player close to the end of front loaded contract this time of the year? Maybe PG can start fielding such teams to find a new home for.... maybe I should shut my mouth I ain't PG

I have full confidence in the Habs brass today.... They have been wonderful with the kids that want to learn to play in Montreal.... that being said maybe they have had a little bit of a hard time figuring out what kid wants to play and what kid is lost with the fame... see seigei Vs Habs Vs media Vs hockey Crazy town spot light... Can we trade "le bon" Serge for Avtsyn? I would even be willing to add in AK for the right to draft a player in the next draft and not get rooster blocked by the KHL. No deal in place... no worries let make one happen for SK vs. AA IMO the Habs might just have to jump over the Batteman for the health of our dear team. but then again I'm in Canada and I think the NHL has failed the fans out here so if the Habs don't do it but it is another Canadian team then so be it...

hey C.C. NO ragging on the Gommer here, dude I was one of the ones that agrees with the fact he is over paid but I was also one of the 1st ones that said he would be more prone to pay some one to wake him in a as opposed to him sitting on his PHAT contract. I would LOVE to be in his skates AND totally he has been kicking a$$ in this playoffs. I was just saing that for me: the cap space that NY Rags gained in the trade that was lost, made it all good for me. Yes Jokinen is a good player but I would not have him on my Habs team even if the salary was less then 2 mil a yr. wich would a saving on Huggies too but I hope you know what I mean. I like our Habs team, they show plenty grit and even if I am one of the ones that think less then a cup is a bad season... as a (true) fan of this team I can not hold ill to them IF they show up to play every night. here, here on all points too. Caps are whatever they are... but the Habs still have a REAL chance to win. Down 1-2 in a best of 7 ain't that bad, still. IMO, Habs just need to do what they did for the 1st 90 or so mins of this series. I don't know why some get they panties in a bunch about the shots on net if we win. I would rather the Habs focus on winning the series and forget about the shot totals. I they do that then they will have more moments like they did in the 1 st period of game 2. And then the Caps will be forced to put Ovie in nets and Gomer will remind Ovie that his hand is trembling right before firing one past him every time. All kidding aside, GO HABS GO!!! many good points Seb here is where I say a trade might be in the cards: - his contract bemands are not realistic from this team (obviously the Habs will need to look at a some $$$ from him to add to his and his self). - he wants a guarante of games that may jepordize not only the team but his perso dev. - his entourage feels him to be bigger then the team and gets him to pull a diva fit (thankfuly I can't say I've seen one as bad as last yr) in the playoffs :puke: I know this is mostly all worst case sceans and there is a better chance he is human and real in knowing not only hockey is a major commercial enterprise and also a game wich is played in a team setting. This is were my faith in CP sides with , but would I be a fool to think this 22 yr old has forsight of a giraffe
