  1. I just read on another site that Mete is out and Alzner is in?
  2. They are both honourable mentions. But Kovalevs was on Tucker...
  3. First to talk about our D Weber will be back. Petry played strong near the end of last season. Mete is moving the puck better this year Oullett can fire the puck. No way they finish bottom 3 if Price gets back to his old form. Domi brings that grit the team didn't have with Galchenyuk and Patches. Tatar has something to prove this year. Zero all-stars is correct but in 93 who was the all-star? How many all-stars did Vegas have last year? I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
  4. Yesterday at practice this is what the lines looked like. The more I look at it I really don't think we are that bad off this year. I would like to see Ouellet fill in for Benn or Schlemko. Tatar - Danault - Gallagher Drouin - Domi - Armia Byron Kotkaniemi - Lehkonen Hudon - Plekanec - Scherbak Agostino - de la Rose - Chaput Mete - Juulsen Reilly - Petry Benn - Schlemko Alzner - Despres Ouellet Price Niemi Lindgren
  5. I will be in Montreal for Saturdays game vs Ottawa I just hope Carey is in net.
  6. I heard the announcers say last night that Radulov has and can play center. I also heard them say that Yakupov has been a healthy scratch for 4 out of 5 games. Montreal should grab him and pair him up with Radulov and Patchs until chucky gets back. Take a shot at him I am sure he would go cheap.
  7. I have to think this may be the most important game of the year for Montreal. Tampa is a team they are trying to catch and with 3 games remaining against Tampa including this game they are all must win games. Come on habs win this for your loyal fans. I don't care about lottery picks.
  8. I don't post in here often but I feel need to post this. The Canadiens are only 6 points back of Boston and Tampa in the Atlantic with 28 games remaining and 3 of those games remaining against the Lightning. The Canadiens are only 3 points back of Pittsburgh and 4 points back of Detroit for a wildcard spot. with 2 games remaining against the Red wings. There is a lot of hockey left and teams will be leapfrogging one another for a while yet. If there is a team that can pull this off its the Canadiens... Keep the faith. I am.
  9. I am watching the game on our local rogers channel and from what I see the score should be 2-1 Montreal. They hit the post twice should have been goals. Huet let 1 in he should have had. But honestly looks good so far.
  10. What I love most about this video was watching tucker miss with the elbow. and as soon as kovalev got the puck he started looking for tucker to run him over. Thats the intensity we need from Kovalev every minute of every game. If we get that all the tuckers in the league will think twice about hitting him dirty again. How many guys have the talent to pick up the puck and look for the guy that just took a cheap shot at them to return the favor. Bravo Kovy thats what I like to see.
  11. Man oh man I put very few post in here. But I faithfully come here to read and enjoy the interesting post. I thought I read everything but unfortionatly I stand corrected after reading this ridiculous post. I would like to meet this Nesquik dunderhead in person so I can beat him like a rented mule. At 40 years old I have been watching the habs on HNIC since I could walk and talk. Koivu is everything I like to see in a habs. I remember either his first or second season he was leading the scoring race after about 25 or so games until he suffered an unfortionate injury. Those things happen. Then cancer, then a stick to the eye, so on and so on. but he still puts up consistant numbers compared to the amount of games he plays. I applaud for koivu .. But Nesquick I fart in your general direction because thats the only thing your post deserves. There I vented now I feel better.
  12. Yup..... Watched it again and still got that same warm fuzzy feeling..... How could anyone not love the habs. All I can say is that this sums it up....
  13. Great video!!! I got a warm fuzzy feeling... Now I am pumped for the start of the season. Thanks...
  14. No appology necessary but but thank you anyway.
  15. No I didnt misread and I agree 100% as I said befor Denis Savard is 1 of my Favourite players ever as was Guy. However when Guy was in Quebec he was not at his best. I used that as an example to support what you were trying to say.
  16. So what you are trying to say is that to say "Denis Savard is 1 of the greatest Montreal Canadians ever" would be like saying "Guy Lefleur is 1 of the greatest Quebec Nordiques ever"? NOT!!!
  17. Wow I did not know that. All this time he was my favourite player because of the spinoramma. I feel so used and cheated.
  18. thats ok hawk coming from a fellow NBer we will let that 1 slide.
  19. you put Denis Savard down twice ... dont get me wrong hes 1 of my favourite alltime players. I mean he did create the savardian spinoramma. But maybe remove the second 1 and replace with Damphouse or Carbo. Or maybe another guy that scored 50 like Stephan Richer.
  20. M&K I could not agree more. Befor people think I am slamming Ryder I want to say I am not. He is a great goal scorer as long as he plays with a great playmaker. His back checking and stick handling leave alot to be desired.
