About 1.3 shots/game this year; until now, it's been in the 2 shots/game range, give or take 10%. I suspect he's frustrated with his inability to get the puck in the net so tending to pass more and shoot less now.

Kotkaniemi is now 8+13 for the season, exactly the same as Dvorak. Similar shooting percentage and faceoff percentage, too. Kotkaniemi is utilized in a more offensive role, though, 2/3 offensive zone starts while Dvorak is mostly defensive zone starts. And we are not locked into a Dvorak contract until 2030 ...
