  1. Yes and no. Kovalev draws attention. He's a magicans with the puck time to time and he has instinct. What he did to Tucker last season is enough to make me defend him for a long time...
  2. Mats Sundin started in Quebec. It would be nice if he couls close the circle... But let's face it. Sundin is one of the most unlikley players in a Canadiens jersey. (Sean Avery tops that list.)
  3. Rivet loves Montreal and has the stick on his right. Unless there's an offer that gives the Habs a better right-handed defenceman for less money than Rivet makes now, then I see no need to trade him. Rivet will accept a salary-cut and third pairings is almost certain in the future
  4. Guitar Hero and Singstar could be the best "pre-night-out" thing to do... Guitar Hero II is even better but my hope is that there will be a version with Playstation 3 that let you download all the great songs. I want to play a whole Van Halen concert!
  5. I'm perreaulized by the fact that you remember that... Perreault's curse is that he's not spectacular enough to be the first line center (nor good enough). Most teams wan't someome on his way up on the second line or a semi-star. Perreault doen't fit there either. The third line want's a player that responsible on both ends. Perreault win face-offs but will never win the selke. And he's not physical to the agitator-line won't benefit from his services. So there's no place in the NHL where the best faceoff man in the world that constantly contributes with 50 points per season. Isn't that a bit wierd?
  6. Makes my realize how much I don't care. (about that) ... Perreault was my favourite player. Don't know why but he always seems to get that goal winning goal. Had the same "crush" on Beniot Brunet. Anyway, at the same time I do realize that it was the right tight to let him go back then.
  7. Makes me realize how much I miss him...
  8. Didn't know. So there's two Juraj Mikus that's about the same age?
  9. Juraj Mikus?! From what I've heard he's allready drafted. Can't remember the team tough... http://www.nhl.com/blogcentral/css_nov.html
  10. Montreal Canadiens are sixth in the east and heading for the playoffs. There's a lot of players heading for UFA status and Gainey can't afford to keep everybody. The insurance is David Aebisher. A cheap number one goalie that has the backup role in Montreal. Trading him for some help when it come to playoff is almost certain. When it comes to the second line center. Look on the bright side. They have a lot of time figure it out as the team are putting up wins. No panic there.
  11. 1. Montreal Canadiens. No explaination needed. 2. Detroit Red Wings. Sergei Fedorov and Vladimir Kostantinov. When they faced the Flyers in the finals a couple of years ago the Red Wings played amazing hockey. 3. Chicago Blackhawks. Don't know why but I like when the original six teams does well except for the Bruins and the Maple Leafs. 4. New York Rangers. Maybe I would have liked them if they had played in the west? 5. Philadelphia Flyers. I could be wrong but to me it seems like the Flyers fans know their hockey. I get the feeling Flyers fan are just like Habs fans in a way. The always demands a lot from the team. Or have I got it all wrong?
  12. If this scoring habit of Komisarek will continue then the Habs could spare Souray. I think it's great that Komi are going.
  13. If they change the equipment to the better then why not? Just keep the design pattern and everybody should be happy.
  14. Does anyone have a link or a picture so I can understand what it will look like?
  15. Im old enough to realize that. But you make it sound like it was something bad. And it's not. Nintendo are going back to their roots and it's a win-win situation as Nintendo has been ahead of their time from the very start. That's why this industry exists in the first place. But the Wii as a system can not be compared to Playstation 3 or the Xbox 360 and that's the reason why Wii will be the big winner.
  16. Isn't Allison Maple Leafs-infected? Anyways, before they decide to add a player I hope that they try everything else. Higgins at center or Samsonov on the first line. Maybe even Radek Bonk on the second line. After that is done and things are still not working for the second line, then Allison could be an option.
  17. Yes I can. I love Wii but it I still think many will get either a Playstation 3 or a Xbox 360 and a Wii. How do I know? Im a reseller of all the systems.
  18. That't true, but I place Wii in antoher category. I won't compete with Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360 as it so different. And the price is so low that everyone should afford it if they like toys.
  19. It's a puzzle. The first line are working great even with Higgins injuried. Once Higgins is back there will be a question on who to play left winger on the first line. How about Samsonov? Latendresse is playing well in front of the net and Kovalev is the one who gets the puck there. Higgins at Center? I don't like but it could be worth trying. Samsonov-Koivu-Ryder Latendresse-Higgins-Kovalev Plekanec-Bonk-Johnson Perezhogin-Begin-Kostitsyn
  20. The Nintendo Wii is a great system. But it's more like a toy and not a traditional console. But since this is a hockeysite, I'll recomend the Xbox 360 and NHL 07 or NHL 2K7.
  21. Save to trading deadline. There's still a lot of games to be played. Things can change. If Huet has shown by March that he's what we're all hoping him to be then Aebischer is not needed on this team. And who knows what the Habs could get in return.
  22. East Malkin Crosby Ovechkin Souray Redden Lundqvist NOMINATION: Andrei Markov, Montreal West Thornton Havlat Zetterberg Phaneuf Lidström Kiprusoff
  23. Saw V for Vendetta yesterday. Really good. TOP 10 1. The Godfather 2. The Shawshank Redemption 3. Apocalypse Now 4. Schindlers List 5. One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest 6. The Usual Suspects 7. Donnie Darko 8. Memento 9. Taxi Driver 10. Hero
