  1. I am guessing Dons writing on the wall is not so clear this morning. Next 4 games should all be wins. See how CBJ fairs. If they drop to Van Isles Habs and Preds we could be looking not to bad headed into the close out of the season.
  2. Happy either way. Better year than expected and finish with all prospects intact. We will be even better next year and still have loads of cap space. Love to make it in but wont be sad if we bubble.
  3. We must have planned to lose. Otherwise Price plays Sharks. Neimi is done. I figure the thought was win 2 of the 3 out west so lose the hard one. Are we sure we don't stand a better chance with either AHL goalie?
  4. Columbus out. Only by wins otl total. Which let's habs squeak in to face Tbay. Yuck. Not what I was thinking 2 weeks ago when I had us facing Toronto or Boston.
  5. I propose a firing not a trade. In 2004 we acquired Yuppi from the defunct Expos. What has he brought us since we hired him? Did the Expos ever get a championship with him? He is a disgrace to the uniform and I think it is past time to cut the cord and our loses. He holds zero trade value so waiver him and send him to Laval or just buy him out ad be done with it.
  6. F off attitude was to the French presse. The real problem is there. Russians have been shipped out of Montreal for years and the French press plays up their conecyions to mob etc. Offering Markov crap not offering Radulov anything until after free agency. Not protecting Emelin all good examples. Thanks illWill for those great points. Not signing Kovalev another great one. Nothing to do with current management I think. Higher up
  7. I believe there is racism in this organization. Someone does not like Russians. Maybe I am wrong but that is what I am convinced of at this point. They should have given him a chance or sent him down preseason when he would probably have cleared. I hope he does well in LA and MB looks like a fool for this.
  8. Hopefully they learn from this and next time they have a team on the ropes they go for the KO instead of sitting back.
  9. We had them and let up. This team cannot win playing shutdown hockey. Need to instill the killer instinct. We should have come out flying and buried them in the second.
  10. Loving the effort by this young team. Hope it continues. Transition game is becoming exciting already.
  11. Hope the youngsters play well. Going to be a long season. A win tonight will ease the pain going forward.. Go Habs Go
  12. I wont see many. I am in Europe then Dubai so will get little chace to feel the pain. I will be in Canada for the playoffs but would be shocked to see a game then.
  13. He should be tarred and feathered and ran out of town. The only way to drive this home to Molson is empty seats. Do not attend home games this year until he is fired.
  14. Lose for Hughes. I want a season as bad as lasts please. We need a 1 center. He is there if we bone it again. Play the kids sell the rest including Price. We have good young goalies in the system for when the rebuild is complete.
  15. Been sitting back watching the playoffs with an "I dont care" attitude. Eller has been quite good. Thinking we let hom go too soon considering our lack of center depth. Finding it quite amusing that McPhee built a top team from cast offs. I feel he went with players who gove there all every shift and hate to lose. Good formula. He found nobody like that with the habs so he took a tradable Emelin. He seems to have found a formula that works. Hoping Washington wins it at this point just because I want some vindication in the belief that talent wins out in the end.
  16. Just a thought that has been bugging me. How come the Penguins are sucking as bad as Montreal this year but we don;t hear talk of them trading Crosby or Malkin yet we all are talking about trading Price and Pacioretty? This teams roster is not that far removed from the one that placed near the top last year. Take the season as a right off, draft high and move forward. Don't be stupid and blow up the core or ditch your best youngsters. Relax, it is a bad season, we had one a few years back, went top to bottom scored Gally then went back to top. Deal with it.
  17. All I am hoping is that MB is fired before he makes another trade. Mr Gainey, are you busy for the next few months or would you mind stepping in until we can find a permanent replacement?
  18. LOL. No, she is a pianist on the ship with me. Tall beautiful and blonde. But that was a good question.
  19. Hey, there is nothing wrong or unnatural about ##### one's self. Masturbating is a normal healthy act and if any of you are not #### yourself you are either fibbing or don't have use of your hands. You should all go ##### yourself, and put smiles on your faces! Merry Faux-Christmas one and all. I fly to my ship tomorrow so am celebrating with my kids. Probably #### myself later tonight so I am not overly excited and shoot too fast when I see my beautiful Russian girlfriend on Saturday!
  20. Yes, there was actually a very good write up on that in here not long ago. The avg draft only nets teams something like 1.5 players that get an substantial NHL time.
  21. I wonder if the fans give a warm salute to Davidson for his return? Do you think there will be a highlight video of his play with the Habs before the game? I sure hope so! Be so heart touching to see him tear up before the game. Ok, I am in one of those moods today... 1 week and I return to the warmth and escape this damp cold weather. YAY!!! GO HABS GO!!
  22. You are quite wrong here. Montreal's percentage of draft picks making the NHL is actually above average. What we have to do is keep the kids we draft longer. We are too quick to give away top prospects.
  23. Problem is very simple PQ and the media. We are not allowed to hire the best coaches and GMs for the job because the media runs the city and would not put up with it. The same media forces GMs to make moves sometimes that make no sense but the are being pressured heavily in the media to do something, anything, to make changes. Once Montreal accepts the fact that to be a competitive team in 'today's NHL you need to operate in English like the rest of the league and hire the best men for the top jobs regardless of their linguistic ability then we can once again become a serious contender. IMO
