  1. is that Lehkonen scoring ? Made me laugh, I am happy we made it to the playoffs, stumbling in, but in at last. All teams will have rested players and some injured players on the mend. But if the Habs go on a run like they did at the beginning of the season, It would be an enjoyable stumble to watch
  2. It seems like he struggles on his off side
  3. Couldn’t follow it during the play, but did Dom/Richardson switch the D pairs?
  4. Ds are carrying the puck deep and generating chances Evans line is very fast and that is creating havoc for EDM Go Habs Go!
  5. End of season NHL speed is too much for Romanov. He kneeled on that goal expecting to make a save. But of course, stopping McDavid is almost impossible
  6. On RDS2, Boucher analysis showed how EDM is countering MTL’s 3rd man pressure by having their 3rd man cut behind the pressure and be ready to rush as the far D gets the pass under the pressure it is creating lots of space for EDM on their breakouts. and in the O zone, the D are playing the system and trying to for the plays with 2 Ds to one side but again EDM is working around it According to Boucher, the Hab’s D need to be more active in the O zone and the 3rd man needs to support the D and cover the pass/net-from when the 2 Ds are pressuring
  7. I watch on RDS and TVA (both French) intermissions I switch to radio streaming (TSN690) and enjoy Momesso’s comments. when Guy Boucher is on TV I listen sometimes because he brings a different perspective than ex-players Most analysts on French tv state the obvious but do not describe the structure the coach wanted, why not did breakdown and how the other team’s structure made that happen. Guy Boucher is the one that usually brings that except when he is goofing around with the other “experts”
  8. When the GM went “all in” before the UFAs bailed and then made bonehead trades like Domi’s ... it made it impossible for Torts I’ll miss him: he was entertaining
  9. Very happy to see KK in Danault’s spot that’s were I’ve seen him since drafted
  10. don't know if you are replying to me or someone else, but I'll chime in I posted above that I believe they are resting the core... I'll change that to "they are not rushing players back" if you prefer. Also, one or two of the injured players probably could have played in a playoff 7th game if needed, but that situation did not present itself. If after the first game against the Oilers the team has not clinched, maybe they play one of these injured palyers
  11. That”s what I think . Up to the last couple of games where they may play some of them like they do in pre-season
  12. Team continuous it’s “.500” slumbering slide into the playoffs expecting anything more from the B-lineup only sets one up for disappointment and frustration I turned off the game after the 1st and missed Caufield’s goal. Happy for Bilbo Heard on radio this morning concerns about KK. For me, I’ll evaluate him in the playoffs; I am more worried about Danault’s injury and Anderson’s lack of scoring None of the latest loses can be blamed on Drouin, Price or Weber. Which means that with those players rested, there is hope to have a good run in the playoffs
  13. Also, I think Kotkaniemi will probably be at least as good as Danault Daunault in Chicago did not have as good stats as KK so far KK has more upside and if he becomes as good as Danault Inwill be ok with that; but I expect KK to be better
  14. I agree, and I like how the Habs are working with him so far He does not need to carry the team in his shoulder just yet. There is plenty of time for him to get better
  15. I saw your posts about using Cauliflower. not my favourite vegetable I tried mini me and hobbit , I forget whom proposed Bilbo well de
  16. That would be my preferred outcome, even if loosing Kulak is bad, I rather keep Allen The Habs could then restructure the D around the leftovers (exaggerating a bit, but yeah)
  17. I am cautiously optimistic he could pull it off, but there are so many things that need to go right for MB... the first being to salvage his job
  18. caught up on my PVR to just before the overtime. Saw Caufield score the winner and just couldn't believe it. Awesome goal Danault said this about Caufield: "Il est petit, mais il [est fait?] pour les grand moments", inenglish he repeated caufield = big moment... which makes me think that it may be a good nick name to call him Cole "Big Time" Caufield Romanov didn't ahve a good game, played less minutes than usual. Evans played another great game, Allen kept us close and made the win possible, Danault was really good against Matthews, Suzuki and Toffoli have chemistry, Andersson is playing like Armia and Chiarot played like a true top-4 D regardless of who was playing with him
  19. like complotistes, seems like Mr. Brendan Kelly has his followers...
  20. Those are two major injuries for Teasdale. I hope he is not another prospect that is lost to the Hab’s voodoo curse that mangled Ikonen’s, Juulse’s, Bournival’s, Geoffrion’s and so many others
  21. Some notes on who may be left unprotected and that (a stretch, but my take) may also be left unsigned: TBL-Savard, FLA-Montour, EDM-Barrie
