  1. Schueneman has been recalled, a D may be injured but yet not announced. Harris?
  2. more a tragedy than a farce to me. On a year where the Habs could have done some deep organizational changes to provide the best environment for prospects to develop while finishing with the best lottery probabilities; they seem to have felt their way in a maze of confusion to come up short
  3. 68% of picking 5 or 6, 100% chances of picking top 7 that is pretty good!
  4. and mismanaging injuries, reminds me of the Any given Sunday movie
  5. with this medical staff and player-pleading (bonus pay chasing) coaching staff : they may play him down to a grinding injury halt
  6. The Habs are definitely hobbling to the finish line. No hope to improve lottery chances and having ground down the most promising prospects to IR
  7. actually, playing Wideman may be the right call for the next five games
  8. Kypreos and Laraque, that's two borderline "scoopers" commenting on Hugh-Gort the sky is falling the sky is falling the sky is falling !
  9. put rice in his skates and make him try all those hot sauces on the tv program, ffs! via GIPHY
  10. He seems to be doing tour of duty with each original 6 teams I hope he stays at least one more year, for the sake of the rebuild... even if I am not a fan of Gorton. The Habs need stability and a steady hand at the wheel
  11. multiple journalists have reported the reaction from MSL. He was not happy and he let the reporters know
  12. The Habs have 7 games left, the Rocket has 7 games too. Habs are officially eliminated and are 10 points higher than the 4th worse NHL team (ANA), but only one worst than ARZ Rocket is 1 point out of the playoffs. If the Habs were to fall back behind the Ducks, they would have 1% better odds to draft Bedard. If the Rocket misses the playoffs, the Habs will not get a chance to see how well they perform on a contract year (are they worth resigning?): Harvey-Pinard (RFA), Ylonen (RFA), Teasdale (RFA), Richard(UFA), Stephens (RFA), Beaudin (RFA), Leskinen (UFA), Allard (UFA), Schueneman (UFA), Bowey (UFA) I hope they throw a life line to the Rocket
  13. I agree with his take. The Habs will not finish bottom 3 regardless how they play. That is why I would prefer for Ylonen and Harvey-Pinard to be sent down to Laval now, so that Mysak, Heineman, Norlinder, Primeau and the rest of the Rocket get a chance to go on a cup run. That would help build a winning culture in the organization more than winning any games in the NHL this season
  14. I watched from the 3rd on and the win was good to see I believe that the Habs screeed any chances to finish last months ago and with a few games left they are just “letting the horses run wild” It was good to see the 4th line do well, but I do not understand why they are overplaying certain players like Matheson. H Eid playing great, but that is not a reason to risk injury
  15. the “Québécois pure laine” factor is not a prime factor anymore IMHO it is either Dach or PLD at center. With PLD, Dach would become a winger
  16. 21 points in 26 games https://www.hockey-reference.com/players/d/drouijo01/gamelog/2023/
  17. Mailloux is an interesting hockey talent. I hope he continues to progress
  18. LOL he has something like 19 points in the last 20 or 25 games They were talking about it on RDS last week almost daily
