  1. i'm good with that. Don't see Edmonton doing it... but I'm good.
  2. Calgary PTO Chris Higgins Columbus PTO Jarred Stoll I could see the Habs PTO'ing Tanguay.
  3. Worst comes to worst you can get seats about 100-125 bucks from a scalper.
  4. http://canadiens.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=56633
  5. Its all on sale on the website. You sit in the "virtual waiting room" until it randomly selects you for your turn. there is no phone ticket sales.
  6. Streaky offensive guys who therrien doesn't like but Bergevin acquires... so like Ryder, Briere, Parenteau, Semin? Seems we get one of these guys per year, with varying results...
  7. Apparently the best offer the Oilers got at the trade deadline was a 2nd round pick (per Darren Dreger)... so I can't see Yak costing much in terms of assets. I'd be willing to gamble on an Emelin for Yak swap. Dont think the oilers would, their need is RHD, not lefties.
  8. You keep bringing up this fallacy that Habs fans wanted a short term improvement of the roster so they should support the Subban trade. While its true that fans wanted to go for it... I dont think sacrificing the best skater on the roster (who is better than Weber now as well) was what 99% of Habs fans had in mind.
  9. I've said many times that Weber is a very good defenceman. I hate the trade because he's not as good as Subban (for a variety of reasons) today, and is considerably older. That doesn't mean i think Weber is shit. Never has.
  10. I just said you were predictable.... i didn't say to stop commenting.... just that the over the top hatred for the guy at every turn is noticeable.
  11. Different positions... pro scout vs amateur scout.
  12. It wasn't one post, you've crapped on the guy every day. Its as predictable as Habsrule crapping on le Genius at this point.
  13. The more I read Don's posts about Subban, the more I'm convinced that P.K. ran over his dog, or maybe took a dump on his corn flakes one morning.
  14. Despite that, he generates so much offense that he is also one of the biggest net-positive players in the league.
  15. I don't expect 30 g 76 points from Hudler. but he'd be a good signing.... 20g 45-50 pts for a couple million.
  16. Ok great, lets get some skilled high scoring forwards..... We've complained how many times that all Bergevin does is shuffle the deck on the fourth line, and then we want to shuffle the deck on the fourth line.
  17. You forgot Danault... who will be in for Flynn. You also forgot to look at the bottom six of the Penguins and Hawks... who are NOT much tougher or grittier than that. The idea that there is only one way to win and its with this big bruising tough fourth line isn't exactly true.
  18. We already brought in guys like Shaw (a pain in the ass, gritty guy though not at the size of wilson) along with Weber (a physical D), and have added a shit load of bottom six guys. I'm not sure where Wilson would fit.
  19. Meh, what jam do the Hawks and Penguins have.... winners of a ton of recent cups.
  20. I don't see Wilson ever scoring 30 points.... In fact I think last season was an aberration and not something he's likely to repeat. I also think he lacks discipline. He's a dirty player who will cross the line at inopportune times.
  21. Yeah, I've never been a fan of Wilson, no offense, plus he's dirty and takes stupid penalities at key times. Sure he hits a lot but thats about it. Much rather have a guy like a Wayne Simmonds who combines physicality with talent... thats the kind of guy i want.
  22. I didn't make it, just saw it on another board. thought some here would enjoy (And it would ruffle Don's feathers, lol).
  23. I hold out hope for the Jiri Hudler signing.
  24. I like Shaw with DD; but with Shaw getting PP time on the second unit. I think Shaw going to the net and digging in corners and generally being an ass will work well with DD's playmaking.
