Gotta start somewhere. The game is very indepth and has a big learning curve but anyone could pick it up and learn the game easily with the help of leagues many GM's. Im also taking applications for minions, Requirements: Obediance, Physical Team, Ability to handle evil assignments.

I have a funny feeling there may be drug or alcohal related issues but I havent found anything to support that arguement.

Im actually pretty happy with Nolan. Hes been working very hard along the boards and is doing anything he can to help be a leader on this team.Also there are people who refuse to fight godard.. and Nolan is a tough guy that will be getting a large chunk of icetime so he can defend his teammates. The points will come, and if they dont hes definitely bringing positives to the team, unlike McCarty, Amonte, and Friesen last season.

Irving wont crack as a backup in 2-3 years. The flames still have Keetley, McElinney, Lalande, Krahn.. too many goalies ahead of him in the system to leap over that quickly. I think its fair to say that all 4 of those guys have at least the potential to be a backup someday with the exception to krahn who has probably had his 4th and final knee injury. im happy with the term of the suspension. Last season it would have been like a 3 game suspension.. so id say 1/3rd the season is a justified suspension.

At one point in time id agree with you but his stock has fallen like a rock. Why would phoenix reject Phillys trade to move Pitkanen and the 2nd overall pick for Ballard and I think it was the 21st pick. Pitkanen although has potential is glorified by the draft selection and is more of a future Brad Stuart as opposed to a future Scott Niedermeyer. I think id like this deal a whole lot more if Aucoin were only signed for 1 year. I dislike the idea of overpaying for an Uncertainty.. we all ready have warrener dammit.. who is rumoured to be sitting out this year. I dont hate the Keenan move.. last season was full of disapointment and the players wernt motivated. Im not happy, or mad. I honestly wanna see how this plays out.. it could be a Great move or a Terrible move.. but I know for sure sutter wouldnt trade anyone because Keenan wants him too. We all know Sutter is and always will be calling the shots. Its pretty clear to me that the flames are going after this good cop/bad cop thing since they kept playfair around as an associate coach. Last season the team really seemed to tune out playfair as he is a very monotone coach, I think they COULD be just what the doctor ordered. I think the reason people are so worried is that there are so many players that need to be resigned this season and they believe that keenan will attempt to remold the team but I dont see him convicing darryl to do anything he wasnt planning or willing to take a chance on. As for Silly.. I dont think hes going to be traded despite the fact keenan is coming to town. I see them having an unspoken hatred but if they put the team first there shouldnt be a problem. Even if silly gets traded hes not a gamebreaker anyways and probably never will be and if we get the right package in return it could prove beneficial to the team. If this keenan thing doesnt work out sutter will can him and we go back to monotone playfair.. its kind of a win win situation in the way that if this doesnt workout we still come back in 08-09 with a chance to make the playoffs even if its with a different core. Notes of Interest: - The flames have made the playoffs 3 seasons in arrow, and have had a different coach each season - Jim Playfair's Head coaching record is actually like 20 games above 500. - Mike Keenan has had 1 record above 500. in the last 7 seasons This isnt bringing in a monster like Brian Sutter or Brent Sutter.. this is a whole new monster.. This wont change anything. Huselius will be fine. If anything this will motivate the flames to try harder. If you cant get a sutter behind the bench is keenan not the next best thing for a hard working team? As long as Keenan is sutters puppet its an improvment. P.S. Why all the negativity.. and maybe the conservatives havent done much.. but they havent ruined anything either.. which is more than I can say about the liberals.

Calgary's bandwagon fans are annoying.. luckily for us after we were down 2-0 to detroit those fans scraped there arms when they got pushed off the ole wagon. I for one put my flames flags on for game 1 of the pre-season until the day after elimination.. the rips and unraveling of my flags show my pride in the team.

Ya the one that was clearly charging in an attempt to injure. Calgary is only trying to show Detroit that they wont go down easy and to expect a tough game 6. Some people are clearly scraping their arms being pushed off the bandwagon.

I dunno even if it is a 1st (which it is rumoured to be) the players going back the other way can both bite the flames in the ass. Chuck Kobasew was asked to play a different role this year but has future 30 goal scorer writen all over him. Andrew Ferance was the hardest working flame all season long.. he played the body quite well for a small defensemen and plays well up to 20 minutes a game before he starts playing poorly. Id say ferance is a suitable downgrade for stuart while picking up a future 30 goal scorer. Wayne Primeau sucks whatever team hes on. Stuart > Ferance Primeau < Kobasew {{{Insurance Pick}}}
