  1. I would love to! But best case would be end of April (having Microfracture surgery on Feb. 6th). Boston, NYC, Long Island or New Jersey all possible options. Would love to provoke Bruin fans anytime!
  2. Bet my house Cole was one of the 12 against..
  3. 8 yr - $42mil. Split it up any way you need in order to make it work.
  4. From what I've read so far, no buyouts till this summer; at which point two will be allowed that won't count against the cap. So get used to seeing gomer for a shortened season. (Unless they chose to bury him in the minors) January 6th is the celebration of the Epiphany. e·piph·a·ny [ih-pif-uh-nee] 1. ( initial capital letter ) a Christian festival, observed on January 6, commemorating the manifestation of Christ to the gentiles in the persons of the Magi; Twelfth-day. 2. an appearance or manifestation, especially of a deity. 3. a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience. God Bless!
  5. Just hand the guy a blank cheque already! All kidding aside I would have no problem signing him at something in the range of 10 years @ 5mil. Actually I would be strongly pursuing it prior to the expiration of the current CBA seeing as how they might be capping the length of contracts.
  6. Me thinks he signs the exact same contract as Max did. Bergevin just painted Subban in a corner and he can't come out of this with anything much better than that (unless he signs for a longer term)
  7. Frankly I'd put money on him signing here; what with the current philosophy of bringing back ex-Habs to shore up coaching/management positions and all. Why not take a chance on someone who has the pedigree and would love to things right the second time around. I bet you he falls asleep at night listening to chants of GUI, GUI, GUI on YouTube.
  8. Awesome!!!! I go clean the pool and we raked the board!! Me thinks Commandant is in fact Trevor Timmins.
  9. Thanks Commandant! You can always be relied on for critical procedural information. Really hope we don't take a cap hit with Gomez though.
  10. According to Mathias Brunet, rumors have surfaced that he has indeed been bought out. https://twitter.com/intent/user?screen_name=mathiasbrunet Very surprised if this is true, with the possible amnesty period or the advantages of burying him in the minors.. Am I missing something here?
  11. Are we seriously still talking about Kovalev? The only Alex that should be on our roster is Galchenyuk. End of story.
  12. Since we're advocating for Latendresse how bout good ol' Tom Kostopoulos? Sure as hell would appease the Greek population of Montreal..
  13. Hope he didn't have a heart attack!! Cobombre où est tu?
  14. *waits for The Cuccumber to boil over and provide us with a positive insightful point of view*

  16. Let me ask you this. Who would you rather go to war with? A mercenary or the squadron cook who despite his limited trench crawling ability will put his life on the line for u? The cook will garner more respect from his teammates and his opponents than any one dimensional mercenary. Day in day out. I'll take the cook any day of the week.
  17. Safe pick. It seem he is highly regarded amongst his peers and that's always a good sign. Question now becomes what kind of coach might he want to put behind the bench? Still hoping Vingault gets fired but with each passing day tr seems less likely. I think the chance Roy comes in is also minimized with Bergevin's hiring. Two young, inexperienced ex-players at the helm of the hockey world's most storied and demanding franchise might come with growing pains. Also Roy's A-male demeanor might not be something Bergevin's wants to deal with. If he does go with Roy though he proves to everyone that he is not scared of putting a possible successor on his staff.
  18. Haven't been this excited since my fantasy baseball draft!!!
  19. Is the game of any importance to Vancouver?
  20. Dick Irvin Jr. Hands down my favorite announcer of all time. Always loved Bob Cole's tone of voice. Shame that he lost his touch the older he got. On the other hand, although I kinda like his macho iitalano accent, Sergio Momesso makes for bad radio. Biggest homer ever: Jack Edwards (NESN) he makes me despise living in Connecticut and amplifies my deep rooted hate of the Bruins.
  21. I was always a soccer player (never played hockey). Started playing organized soccer in 85' and I made sure I got 26 in honor of "le ptit'viking." I worshiped Roy but never wore 33 as it was never a traditional soccer number (neither was 26 but I was 9 yrs old at the time. Through my high school/university days I always wore 7 or 11. Went I went semi pro though and the older I got, the less I cared or "argued" about number preferences. All I really cared about was respectfully representing the logo on the jersey and not the number.
